The Chaotic World Approaches

The war drums still thundered, their sound nearly spreading across the entire Eastern Wasteland, omnipresent and drilling deep into everyone's ears.

The words of the two clan heads also startled Chen Fan, Bald Bird, and the others, drawing their gazes toward the pair.

Bald Bird said in astonishment, "What do you mean, it's about to begin? Why does this drumbeat sound so familiar?"

"What? It's actually the Thunder Drum..." Bald Bird's face changed drastically as he cried out in horror.

Chen Fan and Old Yellow Tooth, however, frowned slightly. They were not natives of this world and had never heard of the Thunder Drum. They had no idea what the others were talking about.

"The Thunder Drum is a grand array set up in the center of the Eastern Wasteland. Its sound can spread across the entire continent, and each of the Four Divine Continents has one. Whenever a great war breaks out, this drum is sounded to warn the entire continent. Now that it has sounded, I'm afraid... those people from beyond the sea have come to kill."
