A New Ability

The branches and leaves of the Oak Tree rapidly grew out, immediately becoming lush and verdant.

The lake, stained red with blood, quickly began to clear.

The desert animals began to retreat.

Some of Phoenix's abilities no longer required possession.

A new ability called "Contract" had appeared.

This ability had come from the interaction between Phoenix and the Oak Tree.

This Oak Tree was an ability left behind long ago by some Nen Ability user.

It was a peculiar Nen Ability that directly took the form of a tree. It was unknown whether it was a Nen Beast or a Conjuration ability.

Lucky guessed that it might be a Specialization ability.

Because of this, it had formed a connection with Phoenix, then undergone a transformation alongside it through Phoenix's characteristics as a Phoenix.

Through this seal, he could slowly help people open their Aura Nodes and learn Nen Ability.

It would also establish a connection with Lucky.

Those whom Lucky marked with a seal would not have their lives and deaths completely under his control. Rather, Lucky could place them in a state of Forced Zetsu.

That was still another way of putting their lives and deaths in Lucky's hands.

At the same time, these seals were also "transfer points" that allowed Lucky to teleport to their side at any time.

However, if those bound by "Contract" wished to borrow Nen, they would later have to repay an equivalent amount of Nen.
