I Won't Fall for It Again

Moyu had imagined all kinds of abilities for Soul Echo...

His replica had already demonstrated some of them during the Eye of Vision Nen Space incident.

The most lethal offensive ability had to be the damage transfer that worked much like a curse.

But Moyu's Hatsu was only around C+. Even with the Vow Effect +1 buff to support him, he certainly couldn't develop such a near-conceptual ability with ease.

Not unless he imposed all sorts of extremely harsh Restrictions, and there was clearly no need for that.

For now, the offensive ability Moyu envisioned revolved around spatial properties.

Spatial abilities mostly belonged to Emitters and Conjurers.

If he focused on Emitter traits, his main idea was to "transmit" attacks through shadows.

The basic principle was this—

First, he would create a spatial Pipeline outside the physical world, then make two shadows its entrance and exit.

Once those conditions were in place, Moyu could send any kind of attack into the "entrance": a bare fist, for instance, or a blade or firearm.

After entering, the attack would cross the Pipeline in an instant and emerge from the "exit" to strike the enemy.

If Moyu stabbed a knife into the "shadow entrance," the blade would immediately thrust out of the "shadow exit."

Or he could throw in a bomb and use the spatial displacement of an Emitter ability to deliver it beside an enemy just before it exploded.

If he could freely adjust the shadow exit's position, attacks like that would be nearly impossible to guard against.

For his other offensive idea, which centered on Conjuration, Moyu drew inspiration from Knov's Window Opener.

If Moyu could conjure a space inside a shadow,

he could try attaching that shadow to an enemy and sending parts of their body straight into the shadow
