From the moment Meruem tore out his heart to the moment he was surrounded by black aura resembling flames, Moyu had not felt much of anything throughout the entire process.
To him, it had merely been the process of closing his eyes and opening them again.

Moyu slowly opened his eyes. Ignoring Meruem, Youpi, and Shaiapouf's reactions, he raised his restored right hand. Strands of irregularly flowing black light could be seen winding between his fingers.
Returning from the dead.
Such a thing was possible in the Hunter world, though it was not common.
As far as Moyu knew, there had only been two examples.
One was when Hisoka was killed by Chrollo in Heavens Arena, then used Post-Mortem Nen to make his heart beat again, thus returning from the dead.
The other was Camilla, the second prince of the Kakin Empire, and her Nen Ability called Millionfold Cat of Reincarnation during the Kakin Empire's succession contest.
The effect of that ability was that after Camilla was killed by an enemy, Post-Mortem Nen would be used to conjure a giant black cat. The cat would then drain all the enemy's life force and transfer it to Camilla, allowing her to return from the dead.
It was precisely because of these two incidents from the original work that Moyu had naturally believed that resurrection was possible in the Hunter
