Ding Huohuo was the first to react. She didn't dare look at the boy again.
She hauled Xiao Wu, who had collapsed on the ground, to his feet, then sprinted back the way they had come.
After all, the Skeleton Legion took down the high-level monsters in the dungeon one spear at a time, and blew entire groups apart with a single blast.
It was terrifying.
Lin Mu paid no attention to those panicked "senior students" fleeing in disarray.
His attention was already entirely focused on his Class Panel.

He took the Rare Grade skill book he had exchanged for at the Academy Treasury out of his Class Space.

The pages turned into specks of gray light and merged into his brow.

With a thought, Lin Mu cast the skill.
Two "piles" of shields made of tiny bone fragments took shape out of thin air, one in front of him and one behind.
The shields rotated slowly, their loose formation leaving huge gaps in their defenses.
Their displayed durability was a mere 800 points.
"This defense is practically nonexistent."
Lin Mu shook his head without surprise and canceled the skill.
He activated his talent again to examine the detailed description beneath the surface.
