"Anz, in a little while, we'll be able to stabilize the Gate of Death and open it. Then we'll have an endless supply of undead servants!"
After bringing Anz into the organization, Lamas began describing their grand ambitions.
He told Anz not to rush into spreading the Path of the Lich. First, he wanted Anz to help him stabilize the Gate of Death.

Anz thought the undead of the Necrotic Realm were pure-blooded. If they could make contracts with them on a large scale, this Path of Death would be excellent—on par with his own Path of Bones.
"Anz, don't rush. Stabilizing the Gate of Death requires a massive blood sacrifice. We're still gathering materials."
"These Ghost-Face Spiders showed up at just the right time. We're almost done collecting the flesh we need."
Lamas smiled and told his subordinates to haul the Ghost-Face Spider corpses to the ritual chamber.
