Arc 15The Wrynn Expansion

Medivh expanded the Wrynn Family across new planes while rebuilding dragon clans, fighting Fel forces, and securing new kingdoms. By his seventieth birthday, the family controlled or helped secure four planes and had grown its human and skeleton populations enormously.

  • Rhine returned to the Hobarton Family as its Earl, while Medivh agreed to hatch Sapphiron’s Frost Dragon eggs and chose the West Winter Mountains as a home for his own Frost Dragon Clan.
  • Medivh reached the Seventh Rank as a Dragon, expanded the Wrynn Family’s territories and population, and worked with the Blue Dragon Ancestors to revive their willing spirits as Thunder Bone Dragons.
  • Medivh and the Spore Queen conquered the Theron Plane, where Medivh accepted native tribes, organized the territory, and made its leaders High Tower Maids.
  • The Wrynn Family invaded the Indigenous Kingdoms through Ironclad City, and Medivh established an autonomous Domain of Light while the Church of Light relocated its churches into Block Cities.
  • Medivh helped defeat Fel forces in the Holland and Lizardman Kingdoms, after which Tier became Queen of Holland and married him while Arthas established the Frost Kingdom.
  • Sapphiron and Medivh settled the Frost Dragons in the West Winter Mountains, while Medivh helped revive the Blackstone Frost Dragon Clan and established Ice Dragon City and Thunder Dragon City.
  • Medivh’s forces drove back the Murlocs and conquered the Argali-men, Kobolds, and Harpies, then destroyed the enemy Plane Portal and organized the conquered lands into new territories.
  • On his seventieth birthday, Medivh advanced in both his Dragon and Necromancer paths, reviewed the Wrynn Family’s decade of expansion, and visited Nomxi’s four eggs.
Chapters 351–375 Vol. 4 Read

Ch. 351The Dragon-Rearing Business

Rhine returned to the Hobarton Family as its Earl, while Medivh arranged to hatch fourteen Frost Dragon eggs for Sapphiron’s family. Medivh planned to move his growing Frost Dragon Clan to the West Winter Mountains, leaving the Hengduan Mountains to the Dragon Palace Clan.

  • Medivh supported Rhine’s return to the Hobarton Family, where Rhine became Earl and united the family behind a plan to challenge the Gevot Marquis Family.
  • Sapphiron visited North Kurd City with his family and urged his daughters to be more proactive with Medivh.
  • Medivh agreed to hatch fourteen Frost Dragon eggs, with the males to be collected after five years and the females to remain in his territory.
  • The Ice-Snow Elves discovered that six Frost Dragons had settled in the Hengduan Mountains and kept watch on them and their eggs.
  • Medivh identified the West Winter Mountains as a future home for his Frost Dragon Clan and planned to leave the Hengduan Mountains to the Dragon Palace Clan.

Ch. 352A Winner in Life

Medivh advanced to Seventh-Rank Dragon and reviewed the Wrynn Family’s extraordinary growth in power, population, and territory over the past nine years. With a vastly expanded skeleton-production network and Block City projects spreading across many planes, the family continued strengthening its holdings against the threat of widespread Fel disasters.

  • Medivh reached Seventh-Rank Dragon, while his Dragonblood Knight and Dragonblood Sorcerer paths advanced to Seventh-Rank Mid-Grade.
  • Medivh reviewed the Wrynn Family’s wars and rise from an Earldom to a Marquisate over nine years, including his conquests with the Spore Queen and the creation of the Dragon Palace Clan.
  • Medivh learned that the family had raised its skeleton numbers by more than 54 million and grown its human population beyond twenty-five million.
  • Medivh reviewed the family’s expanding territories and Block City construction across its home plane and numerous Seventh- through Tenth-Rank planes.
  • The Spore Queen sent Sunshine Mushroom mycelium underground beneath the Spore Plane to prevent Fel Space from forming.

Ch. 353From a Family Gathering to an Imperial Gathering

Medivh reviewed the growth of his territories and industries, then supported a proposal to make the Alchemical Expo a Gewalt Federation event. In September, Blue Dragon Azalia opened the Blue Dragon Tomb, where Medivh secured the ancestors’ agreement and began resurrecting willing Blue Dragon spirits.

  • Holy Remains City expanded its districts for containing deathly energy, while the Sage of Light Association considered applying its governance approach elsewhere.
  • The Alchemical Academy of Sciences developed the Second-Generation God-Forged Mecha and designed the more powerful Third-Generation model.
  • Medivh held the second Alchemical Expo in South Kurd City, where the Wrynn Family won many orders and the Gewalt Noble Council proposed a federation-wide expo every ten years.
  • Lissandra and Vivian reported that Azalia had purified her bloodline and evolved into a Blue Dragon.
  • Azalia entered the Blue Dragon Tomb and inherited the Blue Dragon Clan’s authority as Medivh waited outside with Lissandra, Vivian, and Sage Moana.
  • The Blue Dragon Ancestors agreed to work with Medivh, who contracted with their Dragon Spirit Guardians and quietly resurrected the willing spirits as Blue Bone Dragons.

Ch. 354Thunder Dragon City

Medivh revived the Blue Dragon remnants as Thunder Bone Dragons and began building Thunder Dragon City to establish a Blue Dragon-led lineage. When his scouts found an unrecorded Seventh-Rank plane, he decided to invite the Spore Queen before considering an invasion.

  • Medivh emerged from the Blue Dragon Tomb with Azalia and one hundred eight revived Thunder Bone Dragons, which agreed to help rebuild the Blue Dragon Clan.
  • Medivh sent the Thunder Bone Dragons to Flame Dragon City and began constructing Thunder Dragon City underground beneath the forest south of Rock Dragon Swamp.
  • Azalia, Lissandra, and Vivian led the Blue Dragon Clan as its members helped purify Blue Dragon Kin bloodlines and Thunder Bone Dragons secretly subdued weaker clans.
  • Medivh planned for Thunder Dragon City to lead a Blue Dragon-based lineage, with hybrid offspring joining the clan that matched their dominant elemental bloodline.
  • Skeleton Mages discovered an unrecorded Seventh-Rank plane, and Medivh decided to invite the Spore Queen before starting a plane war.

Ch. 355A Fright or a Thrill

Medivh arranged for the Spore Queen to send Spore Shuttles toward a target plane while he studied their technology and continued developing the Wrynn Family’s ability to wage plane wars. After a secret, thrilling encounter with Mengli ended when she became pregnant, Medivh returned to North Kurd City to advance his research and heard that Andrew and Adeline had welcomed a child.

  • Medivh decided the Wrynn Family could not wage a plane war alone and sought the Spore Queen’s help, prompting her to send Spore Shuttles toward the target plane with Goblin Spores aboard.
  • Medivh studied the Spore Queen’s shuttle technology on the Sam Plane while Mengli disguised herself as Luna during a private encounter and startled him.
  • Mengli later teased Medivh in front of the Spore Queen, then settled down after becoming pregnant, and the Spore Queen sent Medivh away.
  • Back in North Kurd City, Medivh gathered his Skeleton Mage scholars to expand their research and pushed for progress on War Goblins and Star Sea travel.
  • Sindasa visited Medivh in mid-August and reported that Andrew and Adeline had had a child.

Ch. 356Equal Cooperation

The Spore Queen’s Goblin Spores weakened the Theron Plane before Medivh and the Myconids invaded and defeated its native kingdoms. Medivh accepted the surrender of several peoples and began establishing Wrynn Family rule, while the Forest Elves realized they had mistaken his family for the Myconids.

  • The Spore Queen spread Goblin Spores across the Theron Plane, and disciplined Spore Goblins devastated towns and overwhelmed the Indigenous Kingdom.
  • After the Spore Queen summoned him, Medivh led the Skeleton Legion and Sixth- and Seventh-Rank Myconids to attack the native kingdoms’ armies, killing their Transcendents.
  • The Myconid Commander told Medivh that the Spore Queen had left some regions for him to conquer, and Medivh persuaded some native peoples to submit while defeating others.
  • A Forest Elf tribe and a Flower Fairy tribe surrendered after mistaking the Wrynn Family for the Spore Jungle, and Medivh accepted them without correcting their misunderstanding.
  • The Spore Goblins returned to the Spore Jungle, while the Skeleton Legion claimed land and built cities on the Theron Plane.
  • The Forest Elves realized they had surrendered to the Wrynn Family rather than the Myconids, and Medivh gave his new subjects time to settle in.

Ch. 357Assimilation

Medivh oversaw the assimilation of the native tribes into the Wrynn Family, with Beatrice and then Melantha bringing the last holdouts into the fold. The tribes received lands to govern, and the story left off with Beatrice telling Medivh she was pregnant, binding the Green Wild Forest Elves to his family by blood.

  • Medivh encouraged the native tribes to join the Bone Spirit System, form legions, and send young women to serve as High Tower Maids.
  • Beatrice worried the Green Wild Forest Tribe would be isolated for not showing gratitude, so she went to meet Medivh and later helped Elf guards become High Tower Maids.
  • Melantha accepted her baptism, bringing the Flower Fairy Tribe into the Wrynn Family and making Medivh the supreme ruler of the Theron Plane.
  • Medivh divided the plane into duchies and appointed High Tower Maids to rule the tribes on his behalf.
  • Beatrice told Medivh she was pregnant, and he celebrated the news.

Ch. 358The Hundred-Cycle Honeybee Dance

After establishing a network of Block Cities and principalities across the Theron Plane, Medivh returned to the Valoran Plane and advanced to mid-level Sixth-Rank Necromancer. His new ability to raise stronger Bone Spirits promised to further bolster the Wrynn Family’s growing power.

  • Medivh organized the Theron Plane into fifteen principalities, each centered on an eighty-ring Block City, with 256 smaller cities and surrounding farms supporting the territory.
  • Melantha invited Medivh to a farewell ball in Flower Immortal City, where she and ninety-nine Flower Fairies performed the Hundred-Cycle Honeybee Dance.
  • Medivh returned to Theron City with High Tower Maids from several races, who would serve at No. 1 High Tower Castle and help manage their peoples.
  • In mid-November of Wrynn Year 39, Medivh advanced to mid-level Sixth-Rank Necromancer after seven and a half years at the Sixth Rank.
  • Medivh gained the ability to resurrect ordinary skeletons and Transcendent Skeletons as Sixth-Rank Bone Spirits, strengthening the Wrynn Family’s ability to produce powerful Transcendents.

Ch. 359A Diversified Proposal

Medivh’s dragon offspring hatched and settled into their respective clans, while six Frost Dragon sisters became more proactive in seeking his company. The following March, he inspected the Third-Generation God-Forged Mecha and proposed more versatile and much larger designs for future generations.

  • Oriana’s, Veledra’s, Vellona’s, and Zyra’s eggs hatched, and the dragon hatchlings joined the Rock Dragon Clan, Dragon Palace Clan, or Flame Dragon Clan according to their affinities.
  • Medivh assigned the young dragons places to live, and the hatchlings established their own Dragon Nests in Flame Dragon City, Mud Swamp City, and the White Shell Ocean.
  • Lilia and her five Frost Dragon sisters took human form and stayed close to Medivh, while Audrey and the others watched him cultivate and relax at the same time.
  • The Alchemical Academy of Sciences presented Medivh with a fifty-meter Third-Generation God-Forged Mecha equipped with multiple weapons and an Elemental Energy Pool.
  • Medivh praised the prototype and suggested transforming mechas that could serve as ground, sea, and air vehicles, as well as a Block City-sized mecha capable of traveling through the Star Sea.

Ch. 360Public Outrage

The Wrynn Family’s Skeleton Legion used Ironclad City’s portal to crush the Indigenous Allied Forces and seize vast territory, prompting other Lothar nobles to intensify their campaigns. After the fighting stalled and the Indigenous Kingdoms regrouped, displaced commoners turned their anger on the Church of Light for allowing the skeletons to operate openly.

  • The Wrynn Family sent its Skeleton Legion out from Ironclad City as the city activated its Chaotic Elemental Storm and opened a Plane Portal.
  • The Indigenous defenders mistook the storm for the destruction of the skeletons’ base and stayed to attack, but reinforcements poured through the portal as the Wrynn Family fielded twenty million skeletons and defeated them.
  • The Skeleton Legion advanced into the Indigenous Kingdoms’ territory, occupying more than six million square kilometers before both sides fortified their holdings and turned to development and raids.
  • The Indigenous Kingdoms’ suicide squads harassed enemy territory but abandoned Ironclad Territory after its skeleton farmers killed attackers and its border walls expanded.
  • Displaced Indigenous commoners condemned the Church of Light for failing to stop the Skeleton Legion, and some demanded that its priests leave their kingdoms.

Ch. 361You're Actually Doing This?!

After protesters drove the Light Priests from the Indigenous Kingdom, Medivh welcomed them to Ironclad Territory and sent Holy Light Skeletons to fight evil alongside them. The relocation strengthened the Wrynn Family’s alliance with the Church of Light and brought new residents and believers to the territory.

  • The local Light Bishops decided to move their churches to Ironclad Territory after protests disrupted their work, and Medivh supported their relocation.
  • Medivh sent two hundred thousand Holy Light Skeletons to train with the Light Priests and help them hunt evildoers.
  • The Light Priests and Holy Light Skeleton Legion surrounded a secret gathering of Necromancers, while Medivh continued betraying Necromancers to the Church of Light.
  • Protesters accused the Church of Light of conspiring with the skeletons, while Lothar City-State nobles recognized Medivh and the Wrynn Family’s devotion to the light.
  • Light Churches on planes associated with the Wrynn Family moved into Block Cities, and Medivh established an autonomous Domain of Light in Ironclad Territory.
  • Three million Gevot People moved to Ironclad Territory, where some became Light Priests and intermarried with residents of the Domain of Light.

Ch. 362Half-Elf

Bishop Syndra returned from the Duo Tuo Plane and became an archbishop, while Medivh welcomed his half-elf daughter Sylvanas and arranged for Beatrice to study on the Sam Plane. He left Sam City after a secret encounter with Fairy Dragon Mengli.

  • Bishop Syndra returned to North Kurd City and was consecrated as a Ninth-Rank Archbishop of Light.
  • Elf Queen Beatrice gave birth to Medivh's half-elf daughter, and Medivh named her Sylvanas Osman Loran Hobarton Wrynn.
  • Medivh took Beatrice and Sylvanas to the Sam Plane, where Spore Queen Luna offered to guide Beatrice's cultivation.
  • Medivh and the Spore Queen agreed that the Sam Plane would serve as an upper plane where Forest Elves and Flower Fairies from the Theron Plane could study.
  • Flower Fairy Queen Melantha performed a dance for Medivh, then Fairy Dragon Mengli slipped away and visited him at the High Tower Castle.
  • Medivh left the Sam Plane before the Spore Queen could catch Mengli with him.

Ch. 363The Unexpected Turn

Vellona reached adulthood as a Seventh Rank Dragon, while Medivh and Tier watched the Holland Kingdom launch a war against the Lizardman Kingdom. The conflict proved to be a Fel Overlord plot, and Medivh defended Ulan City by unleashing a devastating Chaotic Elemental Storm.

  • Vellona announced that she had reached adulthood and become a Seventh Rank Dragon, surpassing Natalie.
  • Arthas told Medivh that the Holland Kingdom had started a new war against the Lizardman Kingdom without coordinating with Ulan City or Loran City-State.
  • Medivh agreed to intervene if needed, while Ulan City held back and sold war supplies as Holland forces pushed the Lizardmen back and Loran City-State joined the fighting.
  • Tier became pregnant and chose not to tell the Holland Royal Family.
  • In November, Loran City-State's Plane Portal was destroyed, and Holland forces joined the Lizardmen in attacking its Expeditionary Army.
  • Medivh learned that Fel Energy had corrupted both kingdoms' leaders and ordered Ulan City's Dark Tower to unleash the Chaotic Elemental Storm, wiping out the attacking Fel forces.

Ch. 364The Savior

After Ulan City’s destruction crippled the Fel Overlord’s forces, Medivh led the Anti-Fel Army and the Church of Light in containing the outbreak on Horn Plane. Five months later, Tier returned to the devastated Holland Kingdom, where survivors asked her to lead their recovery.

  • Ulan City’s explosion destroyed hundreds of Seventh-Rank Fel Users and depleted the Fel Overlord’s gathered Fel Energy as the Anti-Fel Army arrived through Storm City.
  • Medivh split the Anti-Fel Army across three routes, helped rescue the Loran City-State Expeditionary Army, and sent its soldiers home through Ulan City’s Plane Portal.
  • The Church of Light and the Skeleton Legion attacked the Fel Overlord while Medivh’s forces protected civilians and fought corrupted armies in the Holland Kingdom and Lizardman Kingdom.
  • After five months, the armies wiped out surface Fel Monsters and contained the Fel Void underground, though the Church of Light continued guarding the Fel Space.
  • Tier returned to the ruined Holland Kingdom with Medivh and distributed relief supplies, and survivors asked her to lead the rebuilding.

Ch. 365That's Wonderful

Tier rebuilt the Holland Kingdom with Medivh, while the Snow Werewolves and Snow Fox-people established the Frost Kingdom under Arthas. After the Horn Plane advanced to an Eighth Rank plane and the Fel Will’s counterattack failed, Medivh returned to North Kurd City, where Satena and the Fire-Praying Spirit Witches sought his help in spreading the Goddess of Fire Prayer’s faith.

  • Tier became queen of the Holland Kingdom, married Medivh, and gave birth to Tirion, whom Medivh named as the future king.
  • The Snow Werewolves and Snow Fox-people conquered the Lizardman Kingdom and established the Frost Kingdom, with Arthas as its king.
  • The Horn Plane trembled as it evolved into an Eighth Rank plane, and the Allied Forces of Evil-Purging sealed the upper layer of the Fel Space and defeated the Fel Will’s counterattack.
  • Archbishop Syndra blessed Prince Tirion and became his godmother, while the Wrynn children studied under leaders of the Church of Light.
  • The Goddess of Fire Prayer ordered the Fire-Prayer Festival held for one week each month, and Satena led the Fire-Praying Spirit Witches in a dance for Medivh, who welcomed the chance to help spread the goddess’s faith.

Ch. 366A Taut Nerve

Medivh helped Lilia and the other Frost Dragons move to the West Winter Mountains, where tensions with the neighboring Ice-Snow Elves persisted. After the Frost Dragons established their clan and grew stronger, Sapphiron arrived, while the Ice-Snow Elves prepared to defend their home.

  • Medivh sent Lilia and the other Frost Dragons to establish a nest in the West Winter Mountains, where the Ice-Snow Elves confronted them but could not stop them.
  • Medivh learned that the Ice-Snow Elves feared the Frost Dragons because Sapphiron had repeatedly crossed their territory without warning.
  • Lilia, Lilith, and Lillian advanced to the Seventh Rank, Lilia and Selina became pregnant, and Lilia founded the Wrynn Frost Dragon Clan.
  • Lissandra advanced to the Seventh Rank while visiting the West Winter Mountains and was congratulated by the Three Sisters.
  • Sapphiron arrived ahead of schedule, discovered that his children had moved, and led his Dragons toward their new home as the Ice-Snow Elves gathered to defend their territory.

Ch. 367It Was All a Misunderstanding

Frost Dragon King Sapphiron confronted the Ice-Snow Elves over their border dispute with Lilia’s clan, but the two sides resolved the misunderstanding without fighting. He left twelve eggs with the Wrynn Family and took eight grown Frost Youth Dragons home, while Mediv continued helping the Frost Dragon Clan grow; Lux later reacted to an increasingly explicit passage in Freya’s book.

  • Sapphiron reunited with the Frost Dragons Mediv had raised and learned that the Ice-Snow Elves were preparing for war over the West Winter Mountains.
  • Sapphiron challenged the Elf Queen and prepared to summon the Azure Wave Dragon Clan, but the Queen clarified that the Heavenly Mountain Range—not the West Winter Mountains—was the Elves’ homeland.
  • The Elf Queen apologized, and Sapphiron accepted the settlement without a fight, bringing Ice-Snow Elf attendants back to the West Winter Mountains.
  • Sapphiron left twelve Frost Dragon Eggs with the Wrynn Family and took eight male Frost Youth Dragons home.
  • Mediv later flew to the West Winter Mountains as a Lava Dragon and mated with the female Frost Dragons who had reached the Youth Dragon stage.
  • Lux read Freya’s biography, Friend of Dragons, then shut the book and glared at Freya over its increasingly explicit descriptions and illustrations.

Ch. 368Winter Wyvern

Medivh oversaw the Holland Kingdom’s growth and helped rebuild the Blackstone Frost Dragon Clan. In the Dragon-Breath Wilderness, Winter Wyvern Queen Auros learned how Frost Dragons evolved and agreed to live alongside the Avarosa Sisters’ dragonkin while her clan pursued the same transformation.

  • Queen of Holland Tier showed Medivh the prosperous kingdom, where Block Cities, transport corridors, towns, and villages connected its people and Skeleton Farmers.
  • Two Seventh Rank Blackstone Frost Dragonkin became Frost Dragons, and Medivh worked with the Frost Dragon ancestors to revive their clan.
  • Avarosa and Serylda inherited the Blackstone Frost Dragon Clan’s authority, while Lissandra became an elder of three Dragon Clans.
  • Winter Wyvern Queen Auros met Medivh and the Frost Dragons, explaining that she wanted to learn their transformation rather than devour them.
  • The Frost Bone Dragons shared their knowledge with Auros, who agreed to protect the Avarosa Sisters and build Ice Dragon City beside the Frost Dragon Tomb.

Ch. 369The Legendary Dragon Avalon

Avalon revealed the Red Dragon Clan had secretly supported Medivh’s efforts to restore the Dragon Clans, and he publicly backed Medivh as he founded Ice Dragon City. With the Frost Dragons restored and other clans beginning to grow, Medivh launched the Twilight City Project and established Thunder Dragon City in the forest.

  • Avalon reunited with Soros and explained that the Red Dragon Clan had protected Medivh’s efforts to revive the Dragon Clans.
  • Avalon greeted Medivh, encouraged him to restore more clans, and returned to his ancestral home after acknowledging Moana.
  • Medivh summoned the Skeleton Engineering Team to build Ice Dragon City, while the Winter Wyverns settled nearby as its guardians.
  • Medivh learned that another Rock Dragon had evolved, Nomxi was carrying a Dragon egg, and a second native Blue Dragon had appeared.
  • Medivh inspected the underground Thunder Dragon City and ordered the Twilight City Project to begin.
  • The Skeleton Engineering Team and Mud Swamp Monsters raised rune walls overnight as the Thunder Bone Dragons cleared the forest, establishing Thunder Dragon City and drawing weak Blue Dragon Kin to submit.

Ch. 370Money Well Spent

Medivh developed the Blackrock Dragon Clans, helped Sindasa with resources, and supplied the Odyssey City-State with weapons to fight the increasingly dangerous Murloc Hordes. The city-state funded the campaign, and Wrynn forces bombarded the flooded region, leaving it covered with Murloc corpses.

  • Medivh considered how difficult it would be to find the Green, Wind, Bronze, and Silver Dragons needed to open the remaining Dragon Tombs.
  • Lairna reached the Seventh Rank and became an adult, while Sindasa asked Medivh for help catching up to his adult mates.
  • Medivh gave Sindasa Elemental Crystals, Elemental Spirit Fruits, and potions to support his cultivation.
  • As the rainy season brought severe floods and growing Murloc Hordes, Medivh agreed to supply the affected families with Deep Water Bombs.
  • Isabella asked the Odyssey City-State Council to fund a campaign against the Murlocs, and the Council approved the Wrynn Family's war budget.
  • Medivh sent Combat Airships and God-Forged Gunboats to repeatedly bomb the Murlocs, and the city-state's nobles cheered at the results.

Ch. 371So Ruthless, I Like It

Medivh led Odyssey City-State, the orcs, and allied dragons in a campaign that devastated the Rainforest Murlocs and secured the eastern coast for the Dragon Palace Clan. After the rainy season ended, the Dragon Palace Clan welcomed new dragon growth and servants, including three Azure Wave Dragon sisters who sought out Medivh.

  • Medivh sent Bone Dragons against the murloc powerhouses as humans and orcs began a full-scale purge of the migrating murlocs.
  • The Wrynn Family blocked the murlocs’ escape routes with cannons and airship attacks while Veledra led the Dragon Palace Clan and allied Azure Waves against their coastal lairs.
  • The East Sea Scale-men allowed the Dragon Palace Clan to take over the sea region, and most Rainforest Murlocs were wiped out or driven away.
  • The Dragon Palace Clan claimed the eastern coast, built an undersea Dragon Palace, and established a block city to strengthen its control.
  • The rainy season ended in mid-July, and Dorothy and Charlotte reached the Seventh Rank while Thetis became a Sixth-Rank Sub-adult Dragon.
  • Three Fifth-Rank Azure Wave Dragon Youths and new Dragon Servants arrived, and the three dragons sought out Medivh for food.

Ch. 372Weighing the Pros and Cons

Medivh cultivated in the Sam Plane, where Mengli’s three Fairy Dragon hatchlings emerged and Luna named them, then returned to manage the Wrynn Family’s dragons. The chapter ends with the Argali-men choosing to pledge allegiance to the Wrynn Family.

  • Medivh stayed in the Sam Plane to cultivate and consolidate his Dragonblood ranks while Mengli’s second clutch developed.
  • Luna welcomed the three Fairy Dragon hatchlings, named Li Coco, Xun Coco, and Mai Coco, and sent Medivh away when he visited.
  • Medivh visited Lilia and Selina’s Frost Dragon eggs and explained how dragon bloodlines tended to settle into pure breeds or two-bloodline hybrids.
  • Andrew and Adeline asked Medivh to support their newly hatched Azure Wave Dragon daughter, and Medivh signed a Dragon City-State Pact with her.
  • The Argali-men weighed their choices as Wrynn forces approached and decided to pledge allegiance to the Wrynn Family as followers of the Goddess of Fire Prayer.

Ch. 373The Death Ray Cannon

Medivh’s forces conquered the Kobold and Harpy kingdoms after the Argali-men joined the Wrynn Family, while the Odyssey City-State moved to claim the Porcupine Kingdom. When the Harpies and Kobolds opened a Plane Portal for reinforcements, Medivh destroyed the site with his newly revealed Death Ray Cannon.

  • The Argali-men secured the Goddess of Fire Prayer’s protection and surrendered to Medivh, who absorbed their kingdom and made the Fire-Praying Church its state religion.
  • The Kobolds killed Medivh’s Skeleton messenger and refused to surrender, so Medivh sent the Skeleton Army to invade their underground kingdom.
  • The Harpy Queen reinforced the Kobolds and attacked the Spirit Cat Duchy, but Medivh’s Anti-Air Battalions ambushed the Harpy forces while the Odyssey Expeditionary Army attacked their occupied territory in the Porcupine Kingdom.
  • The Skeleton Army invaded the Harpy Kingdom and defeated its forces, and Medivh rejected the Harpy Queen’s offer to surrender.
  • The Harpies and Kobolds opened a Plane Portal to summon reinforcements, but Medivh fired his Death Ray Cannon and destroyed the portal site with a massive energy blast.

Ch. 374You Really Know How to Pick Names

After the Death Ray Cannon destroyed the Plane Portal, Medivh’s forces conquered the Harpy Kingdom and Kobold Kingdom, reorganized the Gamma Plane, and established it as a domain for spreading Fire Prayer. Medivh returned to North Kurd City to plan ahead, and the chapter ended with his three Lava Dragon sons returning as Seventh-Rank Dragons.

  • Audrey praised Medivh for naming the Death Ray Cannon after it obliterated the Plane Portal and the forces gathered around it.
  • After reaching adulthood as a Seventh-Rank Dragon, Sindasa joined the campaign and helped the Skeleton Legion eliminate the remaining harpies and kobolds.
  • Medivh divided the conquered lands into new duchies and an empire, resettled their populations, and supported the spread of Fire Prayer across the Gamma Plane.
  • Satena held a grand Fire Prayer ceremony for Medivh, while the Odyssey City-State sent settlers to develop the now-pacified Gamma Plane.
  • Medivh returned to North Kurd City and waited for new opportunities to expand before D'Artagnan, Porthos, and Aramis came back as Seventh-Rank Dragons.

Ch. 375Thriving

Medivh celebrated his growing family and two breakthroughs in his own power while reviewing the Wrynn Family’s expansion and population growth. He visited Nomxi, whose latest clutch included three Rock Dragon eggs and one Lava Dragon egg.

  • Wrynn’s three Lava Dragon sons paired with Camilla’s three Purple Dragon sisters, and Medivh gave the couples resources and child-rearing funds.
  • On his seventieth birthday, Medivh advanced to the mid-level of the Seventh Rank in his Dragon realm, then reached the high-level of the Sixth Rank as a Necromancer.
  • Medivh reviewed a decade of expansion, during which the Wrynn Family occupied or helped secure four planes and grew its human population to 120 million.
  • The Skeleton population rose by more than 104 million over the decade, bringing the total above 210 million.
  • Medivh visited Nomxi at Rock Dragon Swamp and saw her four eggs: three Rock Dragon eggs and one Lava Dragon egg with a slight Earth Dragon influence.
