Classification
Immortal is the cultivation threshold at which a lifeform becomes a divine-power lifeform and ceases to die of old age. A cultivator who fully comprehends a Lower Law—represented by the tenth level of the Heavenly Bridge—can become an Immortal 1 36.

Divine Body
Immortals possess bodies made of divine power, with their energy and life imprint fused together. Injury depletes both divine power and life imprint, progressively reducing combat effectiveness 93.

Undying Body
An undying body is not inherent to every Immortal. Immortals without one can only repeatedly reconstitute their divine body a limited number of times before their reserves are exhausted 80.
- An Immortal with an undying body can recombine a destroyed divine body with almost no loss. 108
- An Immortal without an undying body can be worn down through repeated destruction of divine power. 44 80
- Sacrificing a portion of one’s divine body can create a powerful self-destructive attack or facilitate escape, but permanently weakens the user until recovery. 44 88
Defeating an Immortal
Immortals are difficult to kill through ordinary injury alone. The two stated methods of permanent killing are:
- Soul destruction — Overwhelming soul attacks, soul-affecting methods, or soul venom can destroy an Immortal’s soul imprint. 108
- Divine-power exhaustion — A stronger opponent continuously annihilates the target’s divine power until it is fully consumed. 108
A sufficiently overwhelming attack can directly annihilate an Immortal’s divine power without requiring prolonged attrition 108.
Resurrection
King Rank Immortals occupy a special position within their race. If they die without being soul-controlled, retain their true heart, and self-destruct rather than submit, a Universe Master of their race may later resurrect them by reversing time and space 14 29.
- Immortals below King Rank are generally not resurrected after death, except in rare special cases. 120
- Soul enslavement is especially dangerous to an injured Immortal; an army-lord Immortal reduced to 30% divine power may be enslaved before they have time to self-destruct. 93
- King Rank Immortals are regarded as true pillars of their race because their deaths are not necessarily final. 120

- Immortals can use divine power to repair or reconstitute damaged bodies. 44 87
- A normal Immortal divine body is approximately one hundred times stronger physically than a peak World Lord. 121
- Immortal-level combat does not guarantee survival; on the Extraterrestrial Battlefield, ordinary Immortals and Marquis Ranks can die permanently. 120
- Rare restorative treasures can rapidly restore a Marquis Rank Immortal’s entire divine body; the Shankang Fruit is one such item. 25 49
