"Time Beast God, surrender now. At this point, seven of the Eight Beast Gods have already fallen. Do you really think you can still escape?"

In a stretch of void within the Dark Universe, two streaks of light separated by several light-years were flying at extreme speed. The one slightly behind was a hideous alien beast covered in scales.

"Spare me the nonsense! Monster Beast Progenitor, if I escape today, I swear I'll make you and the Monster Race regret it!" The fleeing powerhouse was a being that resembled a white-gold, horned lizard.

Any knowledgeable expert present would recognize the pursued as the Light Beast God, one of the Eight Natural Beast Gods of this era in the Primal Universe, known as the "Time Beast God."

And the one hounding the Time Beast God into a desperate retreat was none other than the Monster Race, one of the six peak races of the Primal Universe, and its most ancient Universe Supreme Being, the Monster Beast Progenitor.

Of course, a single Monster Beast Progenitor alone wouldn't have forced the Time Beast God into such a flight. But this time, the Monster Beast Progenitor hadn't come alone—it had brought nine formidable Universe Masters of the Monster Race inside its World Ring.

With ten Monster Race experts joining forces, even another Supreme Being would find such a lineup troublesome in the Primal Universe, let alone the Time Beast God, who was merely a Universe Master.

Fortunately, the Time Beast God was born with mastery over the Light and Time Beast God Paths, possessed considerable strength, and excelled in speed. In the Dark Universe, his acceleration rivaled even the Monster Beast Progenitor's, or else he'd have been surrounded and killed by these Monster Race experts long ago.

Hearing the Time Beast God's bitter curses, the Monster Beast Progenitor laughed heartily. "Still dreaming of escape? Don't kid yourself. I advise you to surrender quietly. The Starry Sky Giant Beast lineage within my Monster Race counts as descendants of you natural Beast Gods anyway. Sacrificing yourself for your own progeny—you'd die a worthy death. Isn't that better than letting some other peak race reap the benefits?"

"Hmph!"

The Time Beast God snorted coldly and said no more.

Starry Sky Giant Beasts? They were merely bloodlines left behind by other Beast Gods when they roamed the universe. Not only did they have nothing to do with him, the Time Beast God, but even if they were his own blood descendants, he wouldn't give up resistance for their sake.

"Senior Shi Yan, take care of yourself. This time, the six peak races have joined forces to pressure us. We had no choice." Just as the Time Beast God, or rather Shi Yan, faced a life-or-death crisis, a message came through the Ancestral God Sect's Communication Token he had stored inside his body.

As the white boat flew out, it rapidly expanded into a massive warship, unleashing a terrifying suction that dragged at Shi Yan, trying to pull him inside for suppression.

At the same time, black gales spread across the surrounding hundred light-years, centered on the Monster Beast Progenitor.

"Holy Sound Ship? Black Wind Domain?" Shi Yan's expression shifted.

The Black Wind Domain was a Peak Domain Supreme Treasure commonly used by the Monster Beast Progenitor, while the Holy Sound Ship was a Peak Palace Supreme Treasure belonging to the Monster Race's other Universe Supreme Being, "Zhen Demon Ancestor," borrowed for this occasion.

With the terrifying suction and raging hurricane pressing down on him, the timeline Shi Yan was manipulating instantly became chaotic, forcing him to reduce his time acceleration to stabilize it.

But even so, with his mastery of time, he could still maintain some acceleration, though the multiplier had dropped to around tenfold.

"Time Beast God, I told you—you're not getting away."

The Monster Beast Progenitor closed in quickly, its wild laughter echoing all around, as its tail turned into a whip-like shadow sweeping toward Shi Yan.

As a Universe Supreme Being, the Monster Beast Progenitor's methods naturally far surpassed those of Universe Masters. In the Dark Universe, other Universe Masters couldn't even catch a whiff of Shi Yan's exhaust.

But Universe Supreme Beings were different. Not only could they easily break the speed of light in the Original Universe, but even those not specialized in speed matched Shi Yan's pace in the Dark Universe.

"Don't even think about it!" Shi Yan roared, his white-gold body suddenly beginning to turn ethereal.

"Whoosh!"

The terrifying tail whip swept through the area where his illusory form stood, yet bizarrely, it made no contact at all. Shi Yan only let out a muffled grunt, his divine body's aura barely changing.

"Manipulating the time dimension... able to evade my attack. This Time Beast God is no simpleton. Give him a bit more time, and he might even step into the Supreme Being realm."

Though his move had been dodged, the Monster Beast Progenitor's tone was full of admiration, but the killing intent in its fierce eyes only deepened.

A Universe Master with the potential to reach the Supreme Being realm—since enmity had already been sown, it couldn't let him escape. Otherwise, if Shi Yan ever broke through, a lone Universe Supreme Being seeking revenge would cost the Monster Race dearly.

Though the eight natural Beast Gods, like the three Ancestral Gods, never ventured into the Universe Ocean, as favored beings of the Primal Universe, each of these eleven had obtained a Peak Supreme Treasure in the Ancestral God Secret Realm—hence why it was called the "richest secret realm."

"Sizzle..."

The space-time technique combined with the "Starlight River" instantly pushed back the surrounding black winds.

"Accelerate!"

With the black wind repelled, the time flow around Shi Yan surged back to three hundredfold, but the Holy Sound Ship's suction remained, and this was the best he could manage.

After struggling for a moment, Shi Yan gritted his teeth unwillingly. Contrary to what the outside world knew, the Starlight River was actually just a top-tier domain supreme treasure. The Space Torrent Layer deep within the Space Interlayer was dangerous for Immortal Gods, but for beings at the Universe Master level, the Space Interlayer posed no threat, let alone for existences like themselves.

"Is he trying to flee to the Universe Ocean?"

The end of the Space Interlayer was the Universe Membrane. Breaking through it would lead into the Universe Ocean. However, in the Universe Ocean, the Monster Beast Progenitor would no longer be heavily suppressed by the Primal Universe and could unleash Seventh-Order combat power.

The Monster Beast Progenitor did not believe the Time Beast God wanted to savor the sweet chaotic currents of the Universe Ocean before dying.

Though somewhat puzzled, the Monster Beast Progenitor felt confident he had Shi Yan cornered, and so unhesitatingly withdrew from the Dark Universe, chasing deep into the Space Interlayer.

One chased, one fled. But outside the Dark Universe, Shi Yan, as a Universe Master, could no longer exceed light speed, while the Monster Beast Progenitor's speed quickly surpassed it.

Fortunately, the coordinates in the Original Universe were tens of millions of times larger than those in the Dark Universe. The two, originally only a million kilometers apart, had now stretched to nearly 10 light-years.

"Swoosh!"

Shi Yan's body swept past a massive space fragment. His true form, hidden in another time dimension, overlapped with the space fragment and passed through it.

The Monster Beast Progenitor followed closely, but he lacked Shi Yan's exquisite movement technique.

The Monster Beast Progenitor charged straight ahead. Before the most peak existence in the Primal Universe, space fragments were as fragile as tofu, easily crushed, yet this did not affect the Monster Beast Progenitor's speed at all. The distance between them rapidly closed.

1 billion kilometers... 10 million kilometers... 1 million kilometers...

"Die!"

The Monster Beast Progenitor began attacking Shi Yan to disrupt him.

Shi Yan offered no resistance at all, relying solely on his movement technique to dodge while fleeing headlong. But as time passed, under the influence of the two supreme treasures, the distance between them remained perilously close.
