830: It Was Link's Instruction (Fourth Update)

"Thump, thump, thump, thump..."

In the empty basketball court, the only sound was the basketball striking the hardwood.

With a trainer defending him, Link dribbled up the court. As he approached the three-point line, he used another trainer's screen to shake his defender.

Then, Chris Brickley personally held up a large pad in front of Link, while Link had to pull up for a contested three after dribbling around the screen.

Link calmly let the ball fly. To avoid Brickley and the pad he was holding, he deliberately gave the shot a higher arc and sped up his release.

In the end, the basketball circled the inside of the rim two or three times before obediently dropping through the net.

"That's it. Not a bad shooting percentage, Link." Brickley lowered the large pad, braced his hands on his knees, and wiped away sweat as he panted.

It was already eleven at night. Jimmy Butler had left the training court an hour and a half earlier. Link and the trainers assisting him were the only ones left.

He still had to finish his off-the-dribble three-point shooting workout.

No matter how late it got, Link always completed his assigned work before leaving. Ever since returning from Memphis, he had done this day after day, without exception.

At first, Link's percentage on pull-up threes was indeed far lower than his catch-and-shoot percentage. After all, in practice, Link could make more than ninety out of every hundred stationary threes.
