Who was A Ce?
First of all, there was no doubt that he was from the Yang State.
To run such a brazen yet powerless assassin organization in Cangfeng City, he obviously had some background in the Yang State.
The Yang State had fallen. And yet, apart from the assassination at Little Lian Bridge, the entire Yang Land seemed to have remained undisturbed. Life in the Yang Land was peaceful and prosperous, and the people of Yang lived better than before. But did that mean every person from the Yang State was content to become a citizen of Qi?
That seemed unlikely.
Jiang Wang knew little about A Ce's strength. He had only met the man a few times.
But from his ostentation in Cangfeng City, to his cold indifference on the Red Tail battlefield, to that brief glimpse on Sea Gate Island—
It seemed possible to piece together the outline of his life.
"There's another possibility for why Huang Yixing's resistance wasn't more fierce."
Jiang Wang said, "What if he never had much will to resist in the first place? Or perhaps the force he fought against shared his roots, making it difficult for outsiders to notice. The metal element in Huang Yixing's lungs was so sharp. Could it have been tainted by an outside force?"

After a moment's thought, Jiang Wang told her about A Ce from the Heavenly Pavilion.
Lin Youxie clearly hadn't expected that, when they'd tried to capture Wu Yiyu on Sea Gate Island, there had been such an incident in the middle of it.
"After the Yang State fell, anyone who chose to leave their home must have refused to submit to Qi," Lin
