Looking back on the writing of this volume.
From the opening of the entire Chao Wendao volume until now, I have not added many extra chapters.
Because I told myself that, at this stage, the most important thing was to bring this super-long epic to a steady landing. Results and such were no longer the most important matters. Filling in the holes and landing the story was fundamental; everything else could be left to fate.
The major holes filled in this volume included the pioneering of Martial Dao, the Sea-Pacifying Plan, the Long River Dragon Lord, and the secrets of the Middle Ages. Smaller holes were filled in densely throughout.
Sun Xiaoman, the Martial Dao cultivator who appeared in the very first volume, connected to Wang Ao, the pioneer of Martial Dao. From the first volume all the way to the latest, until Wang Ao threw that punch and completed Martial Dao's pioneering. That was a straight line, really. Though it crossed countless mountains and rivers, it was not difficult to write.
The entire Sea-Pacifying Plan had been seeded from the second volume onward. Back then, Jiang Wang first encountered Xu Xiangan, and Blessed Nation's giant turtle made its first appearance.
