Lin Youxie had been responsible for finding the Cuifang Vine, but getting it to enter the market normally and ensuring Wu Yiyu learned of it without raising suspicion was not something Jiang Wang and Lin Youxie could accomplish on their own. They also needed the forces in the Near-Sea Archipelago to make arrangements.
This had nothing to do with personal combat strength or ability.
For Jiang Wang, the Chongxuan Family's power was naturally the best choice. It would also give them a chance to coordinate before rescuing Zhu Biqiong.
