Chapters 77–85 Vol. 1 Read

Ch. 77Dream Illusion

Qin Ming and Owen’s team faced an ambush by seven World Lord golden-scaled pythons and their Immortal leader, but Qin Ming trapped the leader in an illusion called Dream Illusion. The python died believing it had defeated the humans and risen to become a Universe Venerable.

  • Owen halted the team near the continental fragment and planned to attack the golden-scaled pythons before they noticed them.
  • The pythons revealed their Immortal leader and encircled Owen and the nine World Lords.
  • Qin Ming asked Owen to leave the Immortal python to him, and Owen agreed while the team handled the other seven.
  • The Immortal python struck Qin Ming with golden light, but the attack and the python’s imagined victory were part of Qin Ming’s Dream Illusion.
  • The python’s dream ended, and it died in the void as Owen realized Qin Ming had never moved.

Ch. 78A Small Goal Achieved

Qin Ming killed the high-level Immortal Golden-Scaled Giant Python with his Dream Illusion technique, then shared the spoils with Owen’s team. He learned that his military merit had reached one billion, but his mission still required one million trillion.

  • Qin Ming explained that Dream Illusion had lured the Immortal python into a satisfying dream before killing it, and the team finished off the seven remaining Golden-Scaled Giant Pythons.
  • Owen and the others valued the intact python corpses, while Qin Ming revealed that the Immortal corpse could be worth at least ten thousand Chaos Element Units.
  • Qin Ming gave Owen’s team the Immortal corpse and let them divide all eight python corpses among themselves.
  • Qin Ming asked Xiaoye about his military merit and learned that killing the high-level Immortal had brought him to exactly one billion.
  • Qin Ming reviewed the military merit values for stronger enemies and recognized how difficult the one million trillion mission would be.

Ch. 79Qin Ming's Combat Power

After completing his military merit quota, Qin Ming left Owen’s team and chose to continue fighting alone on the Outer Battlefield. He set his sights on Myriad Wood Continent, where his law comprehension and treasures gave him King-Level combat power despite his World Master-level foundation.

  • Qin Ming told Owen, Blood Fiend, and the others that he had completed one billion military merits and left the team after they said their farewells.
  • Qin Ming chose to remain on the Outer Battlefield and selected the option to fight alone rather than lead an army.
  • The military system sent Qin Ming a star map of the Fourth Battlefield, and he chose Myriad Wood Continent as his destination.
  • Qin Ming assessed that his Time Dream Demon Beast avatar had combat power at least at the King-Level limit, though his World Master realm prevented him from burning divine power.

Ch. 80Myriad Wood Continent

Qin Ming mastered the sixth level of the Seven-Turn Golden Body Art, raising his raw strength to that of an ordinary beginner king, then headed to Myriad Wood Continent to compete for a Myriad Woods Core and earn military merits. He detected a high king of the Monster Race, the Blood-Winged Demon Tiger, on a nearby fragment as a potential target.

  • Qin Ming released the Demonic Cloud Vine to guard him while he cultivated the sixth level of the Seven-Turn Golden Body Art for thirty years.
  • Qin Ming succeeded, gaining a sixty-fourfold amplification that brought his strength beyond the beginner king threshold.
  • Qin Ming learned that a Myriad Woods Core would soon be born on Myriad Wood Continent and decided to seize it for its value, though his own genetic level was already too high to benefit from it.
  • Qin Ming traveled openly toward Myriad Wood Continent, seeking a king-level opponent to complete his military merit mission.
  • Qin Ming's detector located the Blood-Winged Demon Tiger, a high king of the Monster Race, on a large fragment about eight hundred million kilometers away.

Ch. 81Battle a King-Level Immortal

Qin Ming challenged the high-level King-Level Immortal Blood Fiend King on the Myriad Wood Continent to test his strength. After Qin Ming’s attacks wounded the Blood Fiend King, it burned its divine power and unleashed a devastating strike that passed harmlessly through Qin Ming’s illusory body.

  • Qin Ming concealed his aura, approached the Blood Fiend King, and confronted it on the continent fragment.
  • The Blood Fiend King mistook Qin Ming for a newcomer seeking the Myriad Woods Core, then attacked after Qin Ming used Space Lockdown.
  • Qin Ming clashed with the Blood Fiend King and revealed strength near the King-Level Immortal limit, though he was weaker in raw power.
  • The Blood Fiend King unleashed Blood Fiend Thunder Prison, but Qin Ming’s Spacetime Barrier blocked the lightning.
  • Qin Ming pierced the Blood Fiend King’s shoulder with his Void Sword, prompting it to burn its divine power and fire a massive blood-red pillar at him.
  • Qin Ming turned illusory, allowing the Blood Fiend King’s attack to pass through him and destroy a distant continent fragment.

Ch. 82Space-Time Solidification

Qin Ming used his mastery of space and time to kill Blood Fiend King, a high-level King-Level Immortal, and Chaos City Lord moved to conceal Qin Ming’s identity. The Hong Alliance’s Venerables then gathered to discuss the arrival of a newly advanced King-Level Immortal with an unusually significant record.

  • Qin Ming froze space-time, killed Blood Fiend King, and left as the battlefield’s witnesses rushed toward the ruined site.
  • The news spread that a newly advanced human King-Level Immortal had slain Blood Fiend King on an outer fragment of Myriad Wood Continent.
  • Chaos City Lord watched footage showing Qin Ming kill Blood Fiend King as a World Master and arranged a second identity for him in the Hong Alliance to help protect him.
  • Qin Ming read Chaos City Lord’s email and understood that his extraordinary feat could make the alien races target him as they had Kedi.
  • Venerable Ye Zheng summoned the Hong Alliance’s Venerables to discuss a newly advanced King-Level Immortal who had killed a high-level King-Level Immortal, prompting them to ask what made him special.

Ch. 83True Yan King

Venerable Ye Zheng revealed that Chaos City Lord had restricted access to Qin Ming’s battle records, and the Hong Alliance rated Qin Ming two stars for killing a King-Level Advanced expert. Qin Ming entered Hong Alliance City and met True Yan King and his companions, who began explaining why a four-star member still lived in the outer city.

  • Venerable Ye Zheng told the assembled Venerables that Chaos City Lord had sealed Qin Ming’s battle footage, then secured agreement to give Qin Ming a two-star rating.
  • Qin Ming reviewed the Hong Alliance’s information and confidently resolved to become Humanity’s nineteenth Universe Lord.
  • Qin Ming arrived at his outer-city residence and went out to explore Hong Alliance City.
  • King-Level experts welcomed Qin Ming to their gathering, where True Yan King introduced King Tong Nan, Black Mist King, and Long Jue King.
  • Qin Ming wondered why four-star True Yan King lived in the outer city, and True Yan King began explaining that not every eligible member moved into the inner city.

Ch. 84Gathering Storms

Qin Ming met True Yan King and his companions in Hong Alliance City, sold his spoils, and learned about the growing competition for the Myriad Woods Core. He reached the outskirts of the Myriad Wood Continent and prepared to move inward, where the treasure was most likely to appear.

  • Qin Ming drank with True Yan King, King Tong Nan, Black Mist King, and Long Jue King, introducing himself as Heye.
  • True Yan King connected Qin Ming with a King-Level Immortal who bought his spoils for 9.8 billion mixed-element units.
  • Qin Ming learned that the Myriad Woods Core drew fierce battles and traveled toward the Myriad Wood Continent while Xiaoye tracked numerous Immortal squads.
  • True Yan King told Qin Ming that over 1.2 million King-Level Immortals had arrived, while Black Mist King explained that lesser-known fighters could exploit the chaos.
  • Long Jue King advised Qin Ming to move toward the continent's core early because the Myriad Woods Core was more likely to appear there.

Ch. 85Ghost King

Qin Ming deliberately made his ship detectable to lure in an enemy, and Ghost King’s Dark Ghost Beast Clan team attacked him. The chapter ended with Qin Ming fleeing the wreckage as ten King-Level Immortals surrounded him.

  • Qin Ming told Xiaoye to disable the shielding functions of Probes No. 1 and No. 2 so other teams could discover his ship.
  • Ghost King’s Dark Ghost Beast Clan team detected Qin Ming’s lone spaceship and decided to pursue him.
  • Ghost King and his team mistook Qin Ming for an unaware, high-level Human King-Level Immortal and closed in to ambush him.
  • The Dark Ghost Beast Clan destroyed Qin Ming’s E9-class spaceship with an attack.
  • Qin Ming pretended to flee in shock as Ghost King and nine others emerged from different directions and surrounded him.
