The disciple translated Zhan Liu's words for Happy, then waved his hand, signaling for Happy to leave.
Happy flew into a rage and shouted, "Hey! Asshole! Do you know what you're saying?"
"You just turned down the chance to become a millionaire! You'll never get another opportunity like this in your life!"
The disciple was about to translate for Zhan Liu when Zhan Liu waved a hand. "No need to translate. Just throw him out. From now on, anyone who doesn't understand Chinese is to be ignored."
During his lessons these past few days, Zhan Liu had often used the power of Magnetic Field Rotation to simulate and explain the human body's cultivation process. The disciples at the Martial Arts School had witnessed many of Zhan Liu's extraordinary abilities and revered him as if he were a god. They all hoped that one day they too could cultivate superpowers, so naturally they would not disobey him.
Thus, no matter how Happy shouted and cursed, it was useless. He was directly carried out and thrown outside.
"FUCK!" Happy climbed up from the ground, dusted off his backside, and pointed at the Martial Arts School's gates as he cursed loudly. "Just wait! I'll have my lawyers send you a letter! I'll sue you until you're bankrupt!"
Fuming, he opened the car door, drove away again, and went back to report to Mr. Stark.
After assigning the task, Tony Stark had not paid it any further attention. In his mind, no one would ever refuse him. The only difference was how much money it would take.
The current Tony Stark was not yet the future Iron Man. He was merely a flower raised in a greenhouse, untouched by storms—a detestable playboy, nothing more.
So when Happy reported that the acquisition had failed, Tony was very surprised.
"Happy, didn't you tell him he could name any price he wanted?"
"Tony, I couldn't even get a word in with him. That country bumpkin doesn't speak English at all. Everything had to be translated by his disciples," Happy said helplessly, spreading his hands.
"He actually thought you were going to study martial arts at his Martial Arts School. He even said you should learn Chinese before coming back to become his disciple. He doesn't accept anyone there who can't speak Chinese!"
"After saying that, he had people throw me out. I never even got the chance to use my negotiation skills. Damn it! If they hadn't outnumbered me, I would've let that guy taste my fist!"
"Did you tell him my name?"
"Of course. I introduced myself right from the start, but he didn't care at all... Well, maybe he hadn't heard of you. After all, he's some country bumpkin who just came from abroad."
"He's not some foreign country bumpkin. He's an alien country bumpkin. Didn't you check the information before you went?"
"He really is an alien? I heard people mention it, but I thought they were lying."
"Apparently, maybe they weren't. Come to think of it, I've never met an alien before."
Happy understood the implication behind Tony's words and said in surprise, "You're joking, right, Tony?"
"I never joke with men. Not even if it's you, Happy."
"Fine, but I suggest bringing more people. Aliens might not obey Federation law."
"You arrange it."
Rich people got things done quickly.
That very afternoon, a long convoy appeared in Chinatown. Under the jealous and envious stares of the surrounding crowd, it arrived at the Martial Arts School's entrance.
Once the vehicles stopped, Happy got out and opened the rear door. Tony stepped out, dressed in tailored casual wear and wearing sunglasses.
A group of bodyguards in black emerged from the convoy and surrounded Tony Stark as they entered the Martial Arts School.
The afternoon was free practice time. A group of people were meditating inside the Martial Arts School when they saw the newcomers. Every New Yorker recognized the mustached man at the front, and Happy, who had come that morning, followed behind him. The disciple who had received Happy earlier hurried over to stop them.
"Sorry, Mr. Stark. This is private property. Outside visitors are not welcome."
Mr. Stark did not need to say a word. Happy immediately stepped forward and shoved the disciple aside, while Tony Stark swaggered straight into the center of the training ground.
He toyed with the sunglasses in his hand and asked flippantly, "Where's the alien? Has he submitted his paperwork to Immigration yet?"
Hearing the commotion outside, Zhan Liu emerged from the rear hall. One look at their bearing told him they had come with bad intentions.
Though he wanted to blast them into scraps, Tony Stark was a treasure. He could not bear to kill him just like that, at least not before squeezing out his potential.
Besides, the Sorcerer Supreme had warned him to restrain his killing intent.
Ancient One protected Earth, not humanity. So her words must have carried a deeper meaning. It was best not to take them lightly.
The disciple had just come over to translate when Zhan Liu waved a hand. Tony Stark and the others felt as if their gravity had vanished. An invisible force swept them up and flung them outside.
"Your abilities haven't even reached the beginner level yet, so you can't do this. Once you reach the Current Drive Realm in the future, you'll have to handle the work of driving out unwanted guests yourselves. As I said, anyone who doesn't understand Chinese is to be ignored."
The disciples were greatly invigorated and bowed together in acknowledgment.
Tony and the others were swept out the door. The force vanished the instant they left the Martial Arts School, and they fell straight down from midair.
Tony was fortunate enough to land on Happy, using his round belly as a cushion and avoiding injury.
"Well, Happy, I only realized today that there's actually a good reason for you not to lose weight."
After getting up, he reached out and helped Happy, who was rolling around on the ground. "All right, call an ambulance immediately. Stark Industries will cover the costs."
Zhan Liu had held back. The group had merely taken a fall. They were all physically fit bodyguards and had not suffered any real injuries, but the shock to their minds was difficult to settle.
They were all experienced professional bodyguards. Although Zhan Liu's superpowers had shocked them, they were not afraid. They had simply become much more cautious.
They got up, retrieved their scattered weapons, checked them again, and then came before Tony.
"Mr. Stark, the people inside are extremely dangerous. I suggest you leave this place immediately."
"No. Stark never runs away." Tony stubbornly rejected the reasonable suggestion.
"Please believe me, Mr. Stark. That Mutant inside is extremely dangerous..." The head bodyguard wanted to continue persuading him, but Tony cut him off.
"You mean you can't protect me from him?"
Looking at the playboy's contemptuous expression, the head bodyguard wanted to smash his head in. But outwardly, he said respectfully, "No, Mr. Stark. Whoever wants to kill you will have to step over our corpses first."
