Hufflepuff Riot

Several senior Hufflepuff students stood at the front of the group, looking toward the Hufflepuff common room ahead, exchanging glances and nodding to one another.

One of them stepped forward, and everyone behind him raised their wands, aiming them toward the entrance of the common room.

As the door to the Hufflepuff common room was opened, the senior students rushed in with wands raised, followed closely by the rest of the Hufflepuff students.

Inside the Hufflepuff common room, Wentworth, Cedric, and the others stared in stunned silence as the door swung open and a swarm of figures brandishing wands poured in.

"So, you were all eating this thing called hot pot, and that's why you forgot to come back?"

A senior Hufflepuff student looked at the group in the room, his face full of disbelief.

Wentworth, Cedric, and the others could only nod blankly.

Heaven knows what it felt like to be eating hot pot and singing songs one moment, only to have countless wands pointed at their heads the next.

Realizing it was all a misunderstanding, the Hufflepuff students sheepishly lowered their wands and looked curiously at the steaming, mist-filled cauldron on the table in front of Wentworth and his friends.

A female Hufflepuff prefect stepped forward, looking furious as she spoke:

"You are all being too selfish! Far too selfish!"

Seeing this, Green quickly stood up and walked over, seemingly wanting to explain something, but before he could speak, the female prefect brushed past him and sat right in his seat, staring at the cauldron:

"With such a novel and delicious thing, you were actually eating it all by yourselves?! That is just too selfish!"

The room fell silent for a moment, followed by an eruption of noise as Wentworth, Cedric, and the others were suddenly subjected to the accusations of the entire Hufflepuff house.

This forced Wentworth to apologize repeatedly, until Green stepped forward:

"Everyone, everyone, listen to me!"

At Hogwarts, the authority of a prefect is quite high, and the Hufflepuff common room gradually quieted down.

"Everyone, don't be like this. Under my criticism just now, Wentworth and Cedric have already realized their mistakes. Furthermore, Wentworth has promised to ensure that all of us get to eat hot, steaming hot pot, so let's not be too hard on him!"

Wentworth looked in shock at Green, who was speaking so eloquently. He could only think that as expected of a prefect—for someone involved in politics, the art of thick-skinned manipulation is a required course, even for a Hufflepuff prefect.

Green continued to give orders:

"Everyone, listen to my arrangements. A few of you, go to the kitchens and have the house-elves bring ten more portions of the ingredients they sent to Wentworth earlier—oh no, twenty!"

"All first-years, go get your cauldrons! New ones that haven't been used, mind you! The rest of you, follow Wentworth to learn how to prepare the seasoning. Today, we are having a hot pot party in the common room!"

"Whoo-hoo!"

Cheers erupted throughout the room, with everyone praising the wise decision of Prefect Green.

Just as Wentworth and the others were preparing for their hot pot party in the Hufflepuff common room, someone had already rushed in a panic to the outside of Dumbledore's office, where they were being tortured by the struggle with the password.

"Percy, what are you doing here?"

Standing outside the headmaster's office was none other than Percy Weasley, and the person speaking to him was the Hogwarts flying instructor, Madam Hooch.

Hearing her voice, Percy turned to see his flying instructor and said anxiously:

"Professor, I have something I need to discuss with the Headmaster!"

Madam Hooch, seeing his state, couldn't help but say:

"Percy, Headmaster Dumbledore is holding a reception in his office today to welcome the new professor, Ilona. All the school's professors are here. Unless it is something extremely urgent, you should come back later!"

Percy had been wondering why it was such a coincidence that not a single professor had appeared in the Great Hall for lunch; so that was why.

Even so, Percy shook his head repeatedly and said:

"Professor Hooch, this matter is extremely urgent. I must report it to the Headmaster immediately!"

Seeing this, Madam Hooch looked at Percy for a moment, then nodded and said:

"Very well, come with me!"

Led by Madam Hooch, Percy finally entered Dumbledore's office. The room was filled with soothing music, and many professors stood around the new Professor Ilona, seemingly chatting and laughing from time to time.

Dumbledore stood to the side, watching them quietly, lost in his own thoughts.

"Headmaster! It's terrible! There's a riot in Hufflepuff!"

As soon as Percy entered the office and saw Dumbledore, he rushed over and shouted.

In an instant, the entire office went quiet, and all the professors turned to look at the flustered Percy.

"Percy, what did you just say?"

Before Dumbledore could react, Professor McGonagall stepped forward first.

"I think you should teach our Mr. Percy a lesson about manners. A student with good grades isn't necessarily an excellent student."

Snape stood to the side, eyeing Percy askance before speaking.

"Thank you, I will educate my own students. Percy, what happened?"

Professor McGonagall stepped between Snape and Percy and spoke.

Percy felt nervous under the gaze of so many professors, and only felt a bit better once Professor McGonagall stood by his side.

"Professor McGonagall, Headmaster Dumbledore, professors... there is a riot in Hufflepuff?"

Percy's words caused everyone present to frown.

"Hufflepuff? What about Hufflepuff?"

The Head of Hufflepuff, Professor Sprout, hurried over to ask.

Percy then hurriedly recounted everything that had just happened in the Great Hall of Hogwarts to all the professors present.

"I always thought that only Gryffindor was capable of such things; I didn't expect Hufflepuff to surprise me as well."

Snape remarked from the side, his tone irritable.

"No, Headmaster Dumbledore, they are all good children. There must be a story behind this that we are unaware of."

Professor Sprout quickly said to Dumbledore.

"Very well, Professor Sprout, I know they are all good children. Let us go and take a look together to see what exactly has happened. I am also quite curious as to who could possibly gather every single student of Hufflepuff House together."

With that, Professor Dumbledore led Professor Sprout toward the exit, with Professor McGonagall following closely behind.

"I shall go and take a look as well, to see if I can be of any help!"

Ilona said as she followed along.

Seeing this, all the professors followed behind and headed out, Snape being no exception.
