Wentworth read it over and over again, his joy growing with every pass, until the owl fluttered over tremulously and nudged his sleeve.

It was still waiting for Wentworth's reply, but the environment here was so stifling that it didn't want to stay for even another minute.

Seeing this, Wentworth spoke up immediately:

"Oh, sorry, little one, I'll write you a reply right away! I'll even prepare some delicious treats for you so you won't be lonely on the journey!"

However, Wentworth's movements were halted by Rosier, who drew her wand once more and aimed it at the owl beside them.

"No need to trouble yourself, Wentworth. I shall send this owl on its way right now! Once this owl is dead, I believe Dumbledore will naturally understand our intentions!"

This sudden turn of events truly startled Wentworth, and the owl was so frightened its feathers stood on end. Fortunately, Wentworth instinctively grabbed Rosier's arm, just barely preventing the spell from being cast.

"Grandmother Rosier, what are you doing? Weren't you all hoping that I would receive an acceptance letter from Hogwarts?"

Wentworth asked, clutching Rosier's arm with both hands, utterly bewildered.

"That is correct. We were indeed hoping you would receive a Hogwarts acceptance letter, because it is the most accurate way for the entire wizarding world to determine whether one possesses magical talent! And now, since we have already confirmed that you do, we have no further use for them!"

"Wentworth, it is clear that you are very interested in magic. Even if we do not go to Hogwarts, we can teach you any spell you wish to learn—from the Imperius Curse to Avada Kedavra, there is no spell that we cannot perform!"

Having learned that Wentworth possessed magical talent, Rosier was once again fueled by grand ambitions, and she explained this to him with a radiant, spirited expression.

Wentworth, however, stared at Rosier in complete shock, watching her speak of the Unforgivable Curses with such excitement, and for a moment, he didn't know what expression to wear.

If going to Hogwarts meant worrying about which house he would be sorted into, then following these people would certainly save him that trouble, as Azkaban would undoubtedly become his home.

"Ahem, Grandmother Rosier, I think we needn't trouble everyone, right? Hogwarts is actually quite good..."

But before Wentworth could finish his sentence, he was interrupted by Rosier.

"Absolutely not, Hogwarts is too dangerous!"

In Rosier's heart, the Headmaster of Hogwarts, Dumbledore, was the most shameless person in the entire wizarding world, and the second was that zookeeper who loved raising animals!

One must know that for the Headmaster of Hogwarts, the background of every student was no secret. Rosier couldn't even imagine what kind of treatment the child of the Grindelwald Family would receive upon entering the school of Dumbledore, their mortal enemy!

Wentworth, hearing Rosier's words, was equally confused. Hogwarts was dangerous? In Wentworth's eyes, Hogwarts was countless times safer than the outside world! Especially with Voldemort set to make a comeback next year!

As long as one kept their distance from the "Trio of Point-Deduction" at Hogwarts, the school was the safest place in the entire wizarding world.

Thinking of this, Wentworth no longer hesitated and said to Rosier quite firmly:

"Grandmother Rosier, I have decided: I am going to Hogwarts! Because Dumbledore is there!"

In Wentworth's view, simply throwing out Dumbledore's name was enough to settle everything! Where else could be safer than being by the side of the greatest white wizard in the world?

Regrettably, he had transmigrated a bit too early; Fantastic Beasts had not yet been released. Thus, what Wentworth did not know was that his grandfather was the most terrifying dark wizard in the world, and Dumbledore was the lifelong nemesis of the Grindelwald Family!

Therefore, when Wentworth's statement reached the ears of Rosier and the others, it took on a completely different meaning.

Rosier was first startled, then tears welled up in her eyes. After a long while, she finally spoke:

"Wentworth, I understand your feelings, but it is still a bit too early for you to challenge Dumbledore!"

Wentworth was stunned again. Which eye did you see me wanting to challenge Dumbledore with? I doubt I could even beat a single hair on his chin!

But by now, Wentworth had deeply realized that these old folks held his surname in such high regard that he could not say or do anything that would tarnish the family's reputation. One had to remember, these were dark wizards who were proficient in the Unforgivable Curses!

Thus, Wentworth had to bite the bullet and say:

"It doesn't matter, Grandmother Rosier. Only by learning beside the strongest can one hope to surpass the strongest!"

"Only by learning beside the strongest can one hope to surpass the strongest?"

Rosier savored Wentworth's words and couldn't help but nod, but when she looked down and saw his still-childish face, she couldn't help but tear up.

"Wentworth, it is hard on you. Although you are going to Hogwarts, Dumbledore, as Headmaster, will not do anything to you openly—after all, he is so hypocritical! But I fear your days will not be easy!"

"At your age, you are bearing a burden that you should not have to carry! This is all our fault for failing back then!"

Hearing that Rosier finally stopped opposing his trip to Hogwarts, Wentworth had no time to ponder the meaning behind her words. Once he reached Hogwarts, he would be like a bird released into the vast sky! So, Wentworth hurriedly urged:

"Grandmother Rosier, this is my destiny! Let us hurry and send the reply to Hogwarts!"

Watching the owl fly back toward Hogwarts with Wentworth's reply, Rosier turned to look at him and said softly:

"Wentworth, get some good rest tonight. Tomorrow morning, I will take you to Diagon Alley to buy the things you need for school!"

Wentworth watched as those gray-haired elders dragged a corpse away with one hand, and after a moment of silence, he spoke up:

"Grandmother Rosier, I want to give Libby a proper burial. She has taken such good care of me all these years."

Although Rosier believed this was merely the duty of a house-elf—and in her eyes, Libby deserved punishment for failing to protect Wentworth—since Wentworth had requested it so solemnly, she agreed.

"Reparo!"

Rosier then restored Wentworth's room to its original state, bid him farewell, and instructed him to get some rest.

Just as Rosier was about to leave, she suddenly turned back and asked:

"Wentworth, would you like us to find a way to secretly arrange a meeting between you and the Master? Although the Master is imprisoned by his own choice, if we were to force our way in, it might not be impossible!"
