Houka escaped the Five Elders, gathered new Devil Fruit powers, and turned the Rainbow Mist into a pocket world while the Rocks Pirates grew more notorious. After reuniting with the crew, he pursued the Shimotsuki family and declared that Wano needed a new leader.

• Houka escaped Mars by diving into the sea, while Linlin and Stussy reached Rocks and warned him that the Five Elders were hunting Houka.
• Houka searched Drum Island for Devil Fruits, took the Munch-Munch Fruit, and exposed two Cipher Pol agents posing as Patrick Redfield and Butler Patrick.
• Garling ambushed and severely wounded Houka, but Houka escaped to Ruluka Island as the Rocks Pirates retaliated against the World Government.
• Houka used the Rainbow Tower to enter the Lost World, made it a base for his apprentices, and later stored Shandora’s treasures and the Golden Bell there.
• Houka claimed the Rumble-Rumble Fruit on Birka, found the Ark Maxim blueprints, and reunited with the Rocks Pirates on the Sky Island.
• Houka showed the crew his Lost World and upgraded Sword of Xebec, then persuaded Rocks to attack Enies Lobby and prepared to look for Redfield and the Roger Pirates.
• Houka detected a Shimotsuki warship and followed it, then promised Fugetsu Kizaburo he would forge ninety-nine Supreme Grade Weapons.
• Houka met the Shimotsuki family in Moon God form, recounted their ancestors’ ties to Nika and Wano, and declared that the fallen Kozuki family needed a new leader.

Houka destroyed Enies Lobby, expanded his powers, and strengthened the Rocks Pirates while the World Government considered recruiting him. After securing the Lucky-Lucky Fruit and starting a family with Stussy and Shimotsuki Furiko, Houka led the crew to Elbaf, where he encountered Loki and recognized Sister Carmel within Linlin.

• Kozuki Houka recruited Shimotsuki Kozaburo and Shimotsuki Furiko, then brought the Rocks Pirates and their companions into his Lost World, where Charlotte Linlin turned his golden pillar and bell into Homies.
• Houka attacked Enies Lobby with the Rocks Pirates, destroyed its islands with meteors and Raigo, and received a 2.88 billion Beli bounty as Stussy sold reports of the destruction.
• Houka obtained the More-More Fruit ability by killing Byrnndi World, then targeted the Hunter of Misfortune and gained the Lucky-Lucky Fruit ability from Shalang.
• The World Government feared Houka’s growing power, and Imu ordered the Five Elders and Holy Knights to recruit him, and meanwhile, Houka made Captain John a blood servant and trained him with Guyram and Cipher Pol agents.
• Houka and Shimotsuki Furiko settled the Shimotsuki clan on Sphinx Island, and Stussy and Furiko became pregnant with Houka’s children before the Rocks Pirates sailed for Elbaf.
• On Elbaf, Rocks struck down Loki, but Houka healed him and offered to take him as an apprentice, and the crew then headed for Ida’s tavern to contact King Harald.
• Linlin recognized Ida and Hajrudin, who recoiled from her, while Houka detected two portions of luck in Linlin and began extracting the fortune of the consciousness he identified as Sister Carmel.

Houka helped Linlin overcome Carmel’s attempt to seize her, then brought the Rocks Pirates to Elbaf and worked to win the Giants’ trust while warning Harald about the World Government. The crew gained Redfield and prepared to protect Red Earth Island, while Harald remained wary and Loki wanted to join the pirates.

• Houka helped Linlin’s soul devour Carmel’s power, and Linlin accepted that Houka mattered more to her than Sister Carmel.
• Houka warned Loki that Harald would become Imu’s pawn and die, and Loki vowed to change his father’s fate.
• Houka brought the Rocks Pirates to Elbaf, where he dispelled Loki’s curse and persuaded the Giants to accept Ida and Hajrudin.
• Houka studied Elbaf’s Harley mural with Loki and warned that the World Government would threaten the Giants and the world.
• Redfield joined the Rocks Pirates after Houka offered help protecting Red Earth Island from the Celestial Dragons’ Human Purge Competition.
• Harald returned to Elbaf and fought Rocks for several days, while Houka and the others warned him that the World Government planned to exploit him.
• Houka revealed Carmel’s crimes to Linlin and Elbaf, and the Giants gradually became less hostile toward Linlin.

Houka and the Rocks Pirates founded an empire and expanded the New World Alliance while preparing to confront the Celestial Dragons’ Human Purge Competition. After Rocks defeated Roger, Houka secured the Roger Pirates as allies, and the combined crews headed back toward the New World.

• At the Giants’ festival, Houka and Rocks trained with Harald and the others, and Houka mastered Conqueror’s Haki Infusion after surviving Harald’s near-fatal strike.
• Houka proposed a system of kingdoms under the Rocks Pirates, then claimed Egghead and founded the Sacred Ancient Moon Empire as Rocks and the other officers established territories across the New World.
• Harald agreed to bring Elbaf into the New World Alliance after Houka and Rocks promised peaceful relations, and the alliance drew more visitors and trade as Marine forces gathered.
• Houka’s sons, Gu Yue Shenwei and Ancient Moon Ryuma, were born, and he later made Kurozumi Higurashi and Kurozumi Semimaru into blood servants.
• The Five Elders offered Harald World Government membership in exchange for killing Rocks, while the Celestial Dragons prepared their Indigenous Cleansing Tournament on Red Earth Island.
• Houka and Rocks traveled to Paradise to recruit Roger and prepare to confront the competition, but Rocks intercepted the Roger Pirates after the crews battled a violent storm.
