Ao Zhan remained unmoved. He had no connection to the Dragon Clan of this universe, and strictly speaking, they could be considered two different species. So even though he sensed that sorrow, he did not react as intensely as they did.

The Dragon Tomb was not actually here. It was an extradimensional space anchored to the Douluo Plane. Strictly speaking, all that existed here was an entrance to the Dragon Tomb, and the pillar of light was being released from that entrance.
The entrance did not necessarily have to be placed here, either. It could be placed anywhere on the Douluo Continent, or even on the Sun Moon Continent.
After finding the spatial entrance, they plunged straight through.
After a dizzying whirl, they entered the Dragon Tomb.
As far as the eye could see, dragon skeletons blanketed the hills and plains. Enormous dragon bones stretched across the wilderness, with shattered bones scattered everywhere. An unrelenting sorrow and loneliness filled the air, while countless Dragon Souls murmured despairing laments among the remains.
Ao Zhan and the others stood on the pale golden sand. At the sight before them, the sorrow in Gu Yuena's and the others' hearts nearly overflowed.
Ao Zhan looked up at the sky. Dragon Clouds filled it, formed from dragon qi of extremely high purity. There was so much of it that they could absorb it without even breathing.
But that supposedly high purity only applied to the native dragon species of the Douluo Continent. For Ao Zhan, absorbing this dragon qi would not strengthen his bloodline even a little.
