Background

Ao Zhan originated in the Super Beast Armed World. During a confrontation involving the Super Beast Team, Pluto, and the Snow Empress, he was transported through a wormhole to the Douluo Continent and became physically three years old. His arrival produced spatial and temporal fluctuations that drew Qian Daoliu's attention. 55

After meeting physician Ye Renxin near Martial Soul City and retrieving a medicinal herb from a cliff, Ao Zhan was taken to Martial Soul City by Qian Daoliu. He became Qian Renxue's companion and entered Martial Soul Hall. 55

Before awakening his Martial Soul, Ao Zhan repeatedly defeated the children and Elder descendants of Martial Soul Hall despite lacking Soul Power and Exotic Energy.
