Background

Before entering the Super Beast Armed World, Ao Zhan was eighteen years old. His first transmigration made him a member of the Azure Dragon Clan in the Second Parallel Universe, 100,000 years before that world's main story. He independently fought on the battlefield between the Wolf and White Tiger Clans in the Fifth Parallel Universe, joining neither side and using combat to increase his strength. Although 100,000 years passed during his time in that world, he recalled being conscious for only a few days. 1 2

The Ultimate War God System initially granted him the mythical Azure Dragon bloodline. This was distinct from the ice-attributed Azure Dragon Clan's ordinary draconic heritage. Its vitality allowed him to survive repeated attacks by Gui Gu and recover during a deep slumber in the Sixth Parallel Universe. Eventually, the world's consciousness intervened against his unrestricted growth, empowering Pluto, the Snow Empress, and the Super Beast Team before he was expelled from that world. 1 3

Ao Zhan originated in the Super Beast Armed World. During a confrontation involving the Super Beast Team, Pluto, and the Snow Empress, he was transported through a wormhole to the Douluo Continent and became physically three years old. His arrival produced spatial and temporal fluctuations that drew Qian Daoliu's attention. 55

After meeting physician Ye Renxin near Martial Soul City and retrieving a medicinal herb from a cliff, Ao Zhan was taken to Martial Soul City by Qian Daoliu. He became Qian Renxue's companion and entered Martial Soul Hall. 55

Before awakening his Martial Soul, Ao Zhan repeatedly defeated the children and Elder descendants of Martial Soul Hall despite lacking Soul Power and Exotic Energy. Ao Zhan possesses the Ultimate War God System, which tailored his Azure Dragon Martial Soul from his preexisting mythical Azure Dragon bloodline. He is also tactical. He uses mobility, misdirection, enemy weaknesses, and long-term manipulation rather than accepting unfavorable confrontations. After the Rakshasa God reported Ao Zhan's destruction of her divine sense and his knowledge of the gods' secret, the Asura God sought to mobilize the God Realm against him. Ao Zhan's Azure Radiance Nebula instead projected an Azure Dragon that shattered the realm's outer barrier and inflicted widespread losses among its inhabitants. 115 116

The gods did not recognize the distant Nebula Body as Ao Zhan himself and interpreted the attack as evidence of a powerful entity backing him. Star Dou Forest Investigation

Ao Zhan returned to the Star Dou Forest to investigate the existence of Xiao Wu and ordered the Fierce Beasts to produce the imprisoned Sky Azure Bull Python and Titan Giant Ape. 123

After determining that the two Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beasts' memories had been tampered with, he killed them using Azure Dragon Storm. Ao Zhan arrived in the ocean and declared himself its new master, ordering the marine Fierce Beasts to submit to the Azure Dragon. 146

Ao Zhan visited the secretly cultivating Lin Dongyao, the renamed and reformed Bibi Dong, while surveying Martial Soul City's growing prosperity and its academy's training. Impressed by her use of the Death Spider Emperor as armor and the Soul-Eater Spider Emperor as an offensive halberd, he challenged her to a spar. 234

When the Asura God, Poseidon, Rakshasa God, Destruction God King, Evil God King, Fire God, and Wind God acted through their respective vessels, Ao Zhan used Star God Descent to defeat them. He spared the defeated High Priests in order to interrogate the Asura God about Tang San and Xiao Wu. 310 312 313

His questioning revealed that the Asura God could not clearly recall his original reason for selecting Tang San. The god described Tang San as a suitable vessel for faith power and both Asura and Sea God power. Ao Zhan also challenged the god's account of seeing Xiao Wu beside the Lake of Life, citing beast-clan testimony and the absence of a suitable Soft Bone Charm Rabbit in the forest. He identified the Water Mirror Technique's vision as the likely source of the discrepancy. 313

Ao Zhan helped secure Martial Soul Hall's overwhelming victory over the Heaven Dou Empire and the participating sects.
