Ao Zhan expanded Spirit Hall’s influence and confronted Shrek in the Star Dou Forest, where Ah Yin reclaimed Tang San’s Blue Silver Emperor Bloodline and Gu Ningqiu tormented Xiao Wu. The arc left Shrek battered and divided as Yuan Lie confronted the group and recognized Xiao Wu.

• Qian Daoliu defeated Yu Yuanzhen, and Ao Zhan later learned that Element City was stable and that the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan had become the World-Destroying Thunder Dragon Sect.
• Shui Bing'er defeated Feng Xiaotian, and Ao Zhan arranged for Feng Xiaotian to fight Huo Wu at full strength, leading him to admit he had deliberately lost to her before and eventually win her over.
• Spirit Hall took control of Element City, while months later Yu Xiaogang led Shrek and Imperial Heaven into the Star Dou Forest to seek a Spirit Ring for Xiao Ao.
• Ao Zhan confronted Shrek and Imperial Heaven in the forest, and Ah Yin drained Tang San’s Blue Silver Emperor Bloodline from him.

After Tang San was injured by Yuan Lie, the Asura God arranged his Sea God inheritance, but Yu Tiankuo defeated him in their duel. Ma Hongjun began the Rakshasa inheritance and was transformed into a woman, while Tang Hao returned to the Clear Sky Sect to warn of Spirit Hall’s suspected alliance with the Soul Beast Clan.

• Yuan Lie drove Tang San and the Shrek group from the forest, while Ao Zhan’s circle carried out plans that brought Gu Ningqiu and Shui Bing’er closer to him.
• Ao Zhan helped Lin Dongyao train, then accepted Gu Ningqiu’s invitation to dinner, where she and Shui Bing’er used Desire Faith Power incense in his wine and became his women.
• Chen Xin recognized Xiao Wu as a transformed Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast, but Yu Tiankuo warned him and Ning Fengzhi against pursuing her because of her and Tang San’s powerful backing.

Ao Zhan captured Tang Hao and used the crisis around Tang Yuehua to bring Spirit Hall into war with the Heaven Dou Empire. After defeating four Divine High Priests and imposing harsh terms on the defeated factions, he brought Tang Hao and Tang Xiao before Spirit Hall’s spectators.

• Tang Xiao sent Tang Hao to investigate Spirit Hall in Spirit City, where Ao Zhan stopped his attempted escape and imprisoned him.
• Ao Zhan used Tang Yuehua’s ties to Heaven Dou City to demand her surrender, and the Heaven Dou Empire refused Spirit Hall’s accusations and declared war.
• Spirit Hall advanced to Jialing Pass, where Sea God Island’s fighters and Heaven Dou’s allies joined the battle against its forces.
• Tang Chen regained his strength as the Asura God’s High Priest and joined Bo Saixi, Yu Yuanzhen, and Danielle against Ao Zhan.
• Ao Zhan defeated the four Divine High Priests, then captured Tang Xiao and Tang Yuehua and forced Ning Fengzhi to name Heaven Dou nobles as Tang Yuehua’s accomplices.
