• Chen Xinjie traded two hundred-thousand-year dragon soul bones for a chance to examine Gu Yue, but Tang Wulin took back the Ocean Martial Soul and Chen Xinjie's Four-Word Battle Armor.
• Ji Fengyu refused Chen Xinjie's offer to become his disciple, and Yun Ming directed him to manage the squad as the freshmen continued their assessment.
• Ji Fengyu defeated Yuan'en Yehui and advanced through the combat trial, while the Dragon Clan Squad entered the survival round and subdued a Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear.
• The Golden-Haired Lion Mastiff fused with Ji Fengyu after swallowing the Dark Gold Terrorclaw, raising him to level 51 and granting him the group-control skill Dominating Lion Roar.
