"Why, Father!"
Doflamingo had no desire to live in the lower world. He quickly looked at Mother.
Mother smiled gently, "Doflamingo, Rosinante, Father's decision must have his reasons."
Rosinante, with his long hair covering his eyes, was a quiet and timid child. He offered no opinion on the matter.
Homing Saint patted Doflamingo's head and said with a smile:
"Life in the lower world will surely be more fulfilling than in the Holy Land. Not in terms of quality of life, but in the human heart. Doflamingo, you will..."
Doflamingo slapped his father's hand away, unsure if it was fear or something else.
Dimon's visit last night had left him with considerable psychological trauma. Now, hearing his father was going to abandon their status and leave the Holy Land, filled him with even more unease.
"I refuse!"
He roared in dissatisfaction, Doflamingo lost his appetite and ran out of the dining room.
"Doflamingo..." Mother watched him go with concern.
"He'll understand. Let him calm down," Homing Saint shook his head. "I'll go through the procedures as soon as possible and sell off some assets."
Mother touched Rosinante and said with a smile:
"Life in the lower world? I'm looking forward to it, aren't you, Rosinante?"
"Yes, Mother,"
Rosinante replied softly, burying his head in his plate, continuing to silently eat the exquisite food.
The toy room.
"Damn it! Why do we have to leave the Holy Land!"
Doflamingo flew into a rage, kicking a beloved toy across the room.
A maid knocked on the door, "Young Master... Madam asked me to bring you breakfast."
"Get lost!"
Doflamingo yelled through the door. After hearing the "Yes" from outside, the room fell silent.
Clenching his fists tightly, Doflamingo took a deep breath and once again lifted his shirt.
The Pentagram Magic Circle on his chest was still there.
"What is this thing? It won't wash off... Is it a curse? Some Devil Fruit ability?"
"It's a magic circle."
A teasing voice suddenly came from behind him.
Doflamingo spun around abruptly, and upon seeing Dimon, he was so startled that he fell to the floor.
He looked frantically at the door, then at the window, both of which were closed.
"You... How did you get in?"
"Just like this."
Dimon surveyed the toy room, picked up a blue oni mask from a pile of toys, and slowly put it on.
"Your father has already left to handle the procedures. Soon, you won't be Celestial Dragons anymore. Am I wrong?"
Dimon said with a half-smile. He had originally just spoken casually.
He hadn't expected that Homing Saint, after being frightened by him last night, would immediately make a decision.
"How do you know? Can you predict the future?"
"I just happen to know. You don't want to leave the Holy Land?" Dimon said slowly. "I can help you."
Hearing this, Doflamingo's eyes flickered, and without much thought, he showed his willingness.
"What do I need to do?"
"Kneel down first, kowtow to me, and recognize me as your older brother."
What? Kneel and kowtow to a pirate?!
Doflamingo trembled all over. He was a Celestial Dragon, a descendant of gods. How could he kneel to a mere human?
"Hurry up."
Dimon pressed the brat's head down, forcing him to kneel.
Damn it!
He couldn't resist.
Doflamingo gritted his teeth and said, "You're a legendary Great Pirate, yet you bully a child like me! Aren't you ashamed?"
"We Great Pirates are supposed to bully little brats fiercely, especially you Celestial Dragon brats," Dimon grinned. "Hurry up and shout."
"Big Brother...!"
Doflamingo shouted helplessly. How could a child like him resist an adult, especially a famous Great Pirate?
But on second thought, at least he was safe.
"Big brother, how do we stop my father?"
With the first time done, the second time calling him that came much more easily. Doflamingo let go of his psychological burden, now more concerned with preserving his Celestial Dragon status.
Dimon said slowly, "It's very simple. We'll go capture Shamrock now. When that happens, the Holy Land will be in chaos, and your father won't be able to leave it."
Would that work?
Doflamingo was very doubtful, but he had no better plan.
"Shamrock will appear in the park around noon. We can ambush him there, but he'll have bodyguards with him!"
"No matter. You lead the way."
After speaking, Dimon grabbed Doflamingo and, walking to the windowsill, leaped out.
"This is the third floor...!"
Doflamingo cried out in alarm. After landing safely, he breathed a sigh of relief.
Dimon put him down. "Let's go. If we meet anyone, say I'm your slave."
"Got it!"
Not long after the two left.
In the villa, a woman dressed elegantly carried a breakfast tray and knocked on the toy room door.
"Doffy, eat your breakfast well so you can grow up quickly."
There was no response for a long time. Doflamingo's mother opened the door, only to find the child missing.
"Doffy...?"
The Holy Land, the park.
Dimon followed behind Doflamingo, stopping under a patch of shade.
It was eight or nine in the morning, and there were already many people in the park.
As everyone knew, parks were social places, good for walking dogs, exercising, and socializing.
However, Celestial Dragons were different from ordinary people. Ordinary people walked dogs, but Celestial Dragons walked slaves.
Some noblewomen in the park led leashes, the other end of which was tied to a slave's neck.
These slaves crawled on all fours like dogs, their faces blank, their eyes vacant, seemingly long accustomed to it.
In Dimon's observation, these Celestial Dragons were divided into two categories.
One type dressed no differently from ordinary people, while the other preferred to wear clothing similar to spacesuits, complete with bubble helmets.
"Why is there such a difference?"
"Big brother, I don't know either..."
Doflamingo leaned against a tree trunk, arms crossed, his eyes behind sunglasses scanning the park for Shamrock.
"I don't like those clothes either; they're clunky and ugly, but some important occasions require wearing them."
To appear unique, to not breathe the same air as mortals?
Dimon shook his head. Everyone standing in the park was a Celestial Dragon; who were they trying to impress?
Suddenly, he noticed a child wearing a spacesuit walking in the distance, about five or six years old, followed by several bodyguards in black.
"Is that him?"
"It's him! Figarland Shamrock!"
Doflamingo immediately identified the target. "Big brother, go catch him. Hurry, go!"
Why are you more eager than I am?
Dimon was speechless. This kid was so reluctant to give up his Celestial Dragon status.
But to be fair, the Holy Land was quite an interesting town, unlike any other place he had visited.
Very peaceful, very serene. If it were on Earth before his transmigration, it would definitely be rated as one of the top ten most livable cities.
Of course, all of this was built on the backs of slaves.
"You stay here."
Leaving that sentence behind, Dimon strode towards Shamrock.
As he approached, Shamrock couldn't help but look up, frowning at Dimon and asking:
"Why aren't you kneeling?"
Dimon moved like lightning, grabbing the child and lifting him up.
"We Great Pirates, we just like to bully little kids, hehehe... Nice to meet you, Shamrock."
