Raising the Reborn Ice Phoenix

Before Xue Tianyu’s human transformation, Snow Empress and Ice Empress were core rulers of the Far North beneath the Ice Phoenix’s authority. He made Snow Empress groom his feathers and suppressed the two rulers through his bloodline if they disobeyed. Their relationship combined respect, fear, and familiarity 1.

Snow Empress recognized the immense heavenly tribulation as the work of Senior Ice Phoenix. When his phantom shattered and his aura disappeared, she and Ice Empress initially believed he had died. They subsequently found an infant bearing his aura in the crater; Snow Empress recognized him, took him to her Ice Palace, and adopted him 1 2.

She and Ice Empress devoted six years to raising Xue Tianyu. Snow Empress obtained milk from a lactating spirit beast, teased him into calling her “sister,” and watched his martial soul awakening on his sixth birthday.
