Lu Zhiyu piloted the Eternity through the depths of the sea. It was his first time venturing so far underwater. He watched marine life of every size darting through the deep, great schools of fish swimming off into the distance, lush seaweed and clusters of coral, and all kinds of strange races!
There were also plenty of unusual and bizarre species. Along the way, Lu Zhiyu encountered several descendants of the Children of the Sea God. Though they had neither Deified Cells nor supernatural abilities, they had inherited the Children of the Sea God's massive size!
Still, these creatures seemed able to sense the Eternity's presence and knew better than to mess with it. One monster, resembling a starfish, tried to cling to the Eternity with its enormous body, its huge suckers closing around the ship.
Lu Zhiyu saw the enormous mouth at the front of the Eternity open. Its throat organs rapidly shifted, then blasted an extremely powerful vibration in the direction of its mouth. Lu Zhiyu felt the water around him tremble. The starfish was struck by the powerful sonic vibrations and torn to pieces, reduced to a pool of mush!
This was the Eternity's second ability: sonic vibrations. Lu Zhiyu had developed it recently. He'd had the idea for a long time, but it had only taken shape through experimentation over the past few months!
The Eternity glided through the deep sea. Pressing close to the window, Lu Zhiyu gazed out at the ocean floor, which looked like a magnificent, dreamlike world. When he was a child, one of his favorite books had been Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. Now he felt as if he were on an underwater adventure just like that!
