"Ugh—!!! Why are there so many documents to deal with?!" Alice stared at the papers piled on the desk, her mouth hanging open.

Anna, standing beside her with a cold expression, said, "The affairs of the Daylight Church, the War God Church, and the Church of Thunder all have to be handled by us. Of course there are a lot of documents. Aren't all these matters things you brought upon us?"

Alice pursed her lips and looked at Anna with an extremely aggrieved expression.

Ever since they were children, Anna had never been able to stand seeing Alice make that face.

Yet whenever Alice caused trouble and needed Anna to clean it up, she always used that expression to beg her.

In the end, Anna's heart softened. She let out a long sigh and said, "Leave it to me."

Alice sat atop the desk, her white-stockinged calves repeatedly knocking against its legs. "I'm not leaving anytime soon. I plan to settle things here first, then take Miss Baris to Claude's world."

"Settle things here?"

Anna suddenly lost all interest in handling documents. She put down her pen and walked to a nearby table to pick up a cup of water.

"Do you already have the strength to deal with those gods?"

Alice giggled and summoned a fireball.
