Background / History

World Beasts are lifeforms bred by the Universe Ocean as the Source of Destruction, standing in opposition to the Primal Universe's Source of Life. They exist to destroy all things—including Holy Land Universes and, eventually, the Primal Universe itself—and to produce a single World Beast King. 233

The race begins with more than one billion members, each possessing True God-level strength. While in their incubation stage, they are generally bound to their nest in the Dim Land, though they will immediately attack foreign intruders and may leave when driven by survival or opportunity. 233 242 269

Their evolution is governed by four iron laws: sixth-rank World Beasts cannot coexist; incubation-stage World Beasts cannot live peacefully; the final two survivors must fight; and the last survivor will become the King. This fate turns the Dim Land into a perpetual breeding ground of slaughter and devouring. 233

Appearance

World Beasts vary in form, but all radiate a savage aura of destruction and possess an instinctive drive to kill and devour their own kind. 243 260

The Dim Land Threat

Lu Ming first recognizes the World Beasts as the terrifying inhabitants of the Dim Land, where their immense numbers make direct confrontation impossible for an unprepared intruder. 138

The full nature of the World Beast clan is later established: their six ranks, inevitable internal conflict, and the catastrophic potential of a future World Beast King. 233

Capture and Enslavement of Temo

Lu Ming infiltrates the outer edge of the Dim Land in concealment, waits years for an isolated target, and captures the severely wounded first-rank World Beast Temo without alerting the nest. 242 243

His first enslavement attempt fails because Temo's Realm rejects foreign power. After gaining the ability to simulate World Beast power, Lu Ming uses the Chaos Soul Seal to bypass the Realm and enslave Temo. 244 249

The World Beasts' Retaliation

Temo's enslavement alerts every World Beast in the Dim Land and unites them in hatred against Lu Ming, temporarily overriding their usual instinct to slaughter one another. 250

Lu Ming rejects a direct war against millions of World Beasts. Instead, he resolves to nurture Temo into the sole King, turning the clan's own survival laws against it. 250

Temo's Rise

Lu Ming feeds Temo the Sources of God Eye Race miniature universes, pushing it to the peak of the second rank and then into the third. During this campaign, Temo destroys Void True Demon God's miniature universe. 256 258

After returning to the Dim Land disguised as a World Beast, Lu Ming hunts weaker World Beasts and feeds their remains to Temo. Temo subsequently rises through the fourth and fifth ranks, while rival contenders such as Bedi are eliminated. 260 263 264 266

Mohe's Escape and Death

Fearing that Temo's fifth-rank presence will eventually claim it, Mohe abandons the Dim Land and heads for Giant Axe Founder's miniature universe. 269 271

Lu Ming arrives first, while Temo blocks Mohe's escape with World Light Domain. Temo then uses Destruction to annihilate Mohe completely. 272 273
