In Mordo's eyes, Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, and Norman Osborn were monsters wearing human skin.
"Could they be Dormammu's avatars on Earth?" Mordo wondered. He felt that only the evil lord of the Dark Dimension could create such terrifying doubles.
Learning the sorcery of Kamar-Taj was incredibly difficult from the very beginning. Even after mastering the basics, it took years of practice to become proficient. Yet these people before him had learned the most basic spells in a short time, and their results were no worse than Mordo's.
This terrifying reality dealt a serious blow to Mordo's worldview.
Mordo had just praised Stephen's resilience and persistence, but compared with these three, the gap was simply too great.
"Would you like to keep watching?" The Ancient One asked.
"Of course."
Mordo nodded stiffly, feeling as if every muscle in his body had rusted. But he still felt a little defiant. Surely three unreasonable prodigies were enough. Could everyone here possibly be a prodigy?
The Ancient One led Mordo on to the next room.
By then, Luo Xia had climbed out of the tub, changed into a loose robe, and stretched out on the bed.
Seeing how he looked ready to pull the covers over his head and sleep, Mordo relaxed a little and thought, It's good that he's lazy. As long as he doesn't turn out like those three freaks.
What he had just witnessed had nearly made him feel as if he were about to lose his mind.
But soon, Luo Xia casually pointed into the air. A line of fire appeared at his fingertip, swimming through the air as if it were alive.
Unlike Banner and the others, who had to construct their magic circles through a series of movements, Luo Xia didn't need to do anything at all.
