"Teacher, are you going to take them all as disciples?" Mordo asked.
The Ancient One thought for a moment. "No."
"Why not? They've already learned the basic spells. Why not bring them into Kamar-Taj?" Mordo felt that everything he'd seen and heard that day had gone beyond his understanding. It seemed his own training really wasn't enough.
"They aren't suited to becoming sorcerers. Not yet." After saying this, The Ancient One raised a finger and traced a portal into existence, sparks flying around it.
After passing through the portal, The Ancient One and Mordo left the Mirror Dimension and returned to Kamar-Taj.
What he'd seen that day had been so shocking that Mordo had forgotten something. There seemed to be one person in Luo Xia's group whom they'd overlooked and failed to observe.
The Ancient One hadn't mentioned Belcher either, as though she'd forgotten him as well.
But even if they had remembered, it wouldn't have mattered. Belcher was currently lying on a bed, seemingly asleep. The glasses on his face made him look a little strange.
They weren't Tactical Goggles, but a Simulation Learner. Using his processing speed of hundreds of billions of calculations per second, along with the virtual accelerated space inside the Simulation Learner, Belcher began analyzing Kamar-Taj's introductory spells.
The complex magic circles were broken down into individual patterns and runes inside the Virtual Space. Belcher tested each component, analyzing and recording its function as he tried to use this basic spell to deduce the essence of every spell in Kamar-Taj.
The structures of these magic circles were like the 0s and 1s of a computer. In theory, once he understood what their combinations meant, he could develop spells of his own. But the calculations required were so immense that even Belcher's processing speed couldn't handle
