Even Tony hadn't expected that.

After hearing Tony's explanation, Nick Fury asked, "Can you reproduce this technology?"

"Reproduce it? There's no need. This technology is way behind the times. The only thing it has going for it is that it's cheap to mass-produce," Tony said disdainfully.

"That's exactly what I want. Tony, the world has changed. Terrorists are no longer the greatest threat we face. S.H.I.E.L.D. needs a mechanized force that can go straight onto the battlefield in place of our agents," Nick Fury said seriously.
