In a dim London alley, a handsome man and a beautiful woman walked in, followed by four burly men with their faces hidden beneath collars and hat brims.

They were spies sent by the German army, here specifically for Steve Trevor, to retrieve the notebook containing the poison gas formula.

They did not know why Steve Trevor had waited so long to return to London, making them wait for quite some time, but the clouds had finally parted and the moon had appeared. This was a narrow alley; once blocked off at both ends, there would be nowhere to run.

Filled with confidence, the German spies entered the alley with their hands on their pistol grips. But that confidence lasted less than two minutes before they felt their entire understanding of the world beginning to collapse.

At the far end of the alley, their target, Steve Trevor, stood there smiling as though he had been waiting for them all along. The other woman, however, was nowhere to be seen.

They drew their pistols and aimed them at him. Only after feeling that he had seized the initiative did one of the German spies say, "Captain Trevor, I believe you are carrying something that belongs to General Ludendorff."

"Sorry, I don't have it," Luo Xia replied.

That notebook containing the poison gas formula was still with the real Captain Trevor. He had not taken it with him when he left.
