Becoming a God

After reaching Saint Level, an Alien Race requires three components to become a true God:

• Divinity Core
• Divine Authority
• Divinity — the most difficult component to acquire; it is generally inherited through the bloodlines of noble races, including Royal, Imperial, and Emperor Tribes. 282

Society and Hierarchy

The Alien Race is a highly militarized civilization in which virtually every member belongs to a legion, from Deity-level beings to expendable low-grade troops. Stronger races command weaker vassal races, while merit and battlefield performance determine access to resources and promotion. 403

• Legions are the fundamental military and administrative units.
• Legion commanders are typically the strongest members and command subordinate alien races. 403
• Vassal races may organize their own legions and recruit subordinates, but must obey superior commanders during war. 403
• Infighting is permitted. Members may hunt aliens from other legions for Blood Essence; strength is the decisive standard, and there is no recourse for the weak. 403
• Internal suppression exists. Superiors may obstruct talented subordinates from advancing in order to retain valuable warriors. 405
• Race status varies sharply. The Shadow Race and Crimson-Eyed Race are among the Ten Great Emperor Tribes, while Inferior Demons are treated as cannon fodder. 407 409

A race’s standing is not entirely fixed. The Greater Divine Power Flame Demon explained that a race can qualify as one of the Hundred Great Royal Tribes once it produces a Level 2 Deity. 405

Physiology and Growth

Alien Races possess major innate advantages over Human Race cultivators. Even ordinary Flame Demons are born around Master Level, while newborn Shadow Race members begin at Heavenly King Level, comparable to Nascent Soul cultivators. 403 407

• Many alien races strengthen themselves by devouring flesh, blood, and Blood Essence.
• Devouring Human Race life is a standard means of rapid advancement during invasions. 403 405
• Alien Races may also devour other Alien Races; this is accepted within their society. 403

Other-Eaters

Other-Eaters are Alien Race members who prefer consuming other aliens rather than Human Race flesh and blood.

• They still participate in massacres and invasions when ordered.
• Their distinction is dietary preference rather than moral opposition to the war. 403

Invasion Strategy

The Alien Race expands through a strategy described as “Sustain War Through War.” Each conquered world supplies life, resources, Blood Essence, and opportunities for lower-ranked aliens to grow stronger. 405

A typical invasion proceeds as follows:

1. Powerful Alien Race Gods defeat the strongest cultivators of the targeted world.
2. High-ranking invaders claim the greatest share of spoils and Blood Essence.
3. Weaker legions spread across the world to slaughter and devour its remaining life.
4. Once all usable life and resources are consumed, the world loses its value and the legion moves to another target. 403

The Alien Race uses living Void Strange Beasts called Alien Boats to travel between worlds. These creatures can navigate the Void and resemble enormous spaceships despite being living organisms. 403

Battlefield Forces

• Imps and Red-Eyed Alien Races are the two principal cannon-fodder forces used in invasions. 421
• The Crimson-Eyed Race can direct large numbers of Red-Eyed Alien Races, though Crimson-Eyed members themselves are relatively scarce. 421
• In invaded worlds, Alien Race forces establish restrictions and barriers to prevent local cultivators from calling for outside reinforcements. 407
• Alien legions can improve substantially after each war, with their strength rising noticeably over periods of roughly a century. 405

Ancestral Land

The Ancestral Land is regarded as the origin and source of power of all Alien Races. Entry is a rare privilege desired by alien beings and may become available after reaching True God. 418

Within the Ancestral Land, visitors encounter:

• A blood-red sky and black earth.
• Withered ancient trees.
• An immense, writhing mass of pink flesh and blood.
• A seemingly stopped expanse of time and space. 418

The massive flesh-and-blood entity is implied to be the Mother God, the origin of individual Alien Races. Each visitor’s experience and gains within the Ancestral Land differ. 418

History

Initially, the Alien Race’s overall strength was slightly inferior to that of the Human Race, allowing the Human Race to maintain its position on the front lines. The situation deteriorated after the arrival of large numbers of Red-Eyed Alien Races, whose Great Emperor, Demon Saint, Demigod, and God-level forces dramatically increased the invaders’ numbers. 276

The Alien Race later launched escalating offensives across the Lesser Azure Cloud Realm, Heavenly Secrets Domain, Star Realm, and other worlds. At the siege of Heavenly Demon City, they fielded more than a thousand True Gods and several dozen Level 3 Deities. 392

Their expansion eventually reached the Upper Three Heavens, where all known Alien Race forces in the Seventh Heaven were above God level and hunted Human Race cultivators. 448

Major Conflicts

• Lesser Azure Cloud Realm campaign — Alien Race attacks intensified until Heavenly Demon City fell after a three-year battle; the Heavenly Demon General subsequently killed more than ten Alien Race Deities before facing six Golden Immortal-level opponents. 392
• Star Realm invasion — A Succubus Deity led a twenty-million-strong army against the Star Realm. Repeated losses and the emergence of new Human Race powerhouses forced the army to retreat with fewer than one hundred thousand survivors. 409
