Background / History

The Advent Sect was founded on Blue Star nearly a thousand years ago by Guardian Dragon, who served as its Earth-side leader. Blue Star’s organization is only a minor branch of a much larger Advent Sect operating across the Three Thousand Worlds. Its broader network establishes personnel and forces in valuable worlds to pursue survival and escape into safer realms. 44 228

Its public doctrine is to welcome the “great Main Race” to Earth, arguing that humanity is unfit to rule the planet. Members collaborate with alien races and facilitate their descent despite the resulting threat to humanity. 22 47

Guardian Dragon later reveals that the sect’s practical objective is not merely religious devotion: its upper ranks seek a route out of the dangerous Slaughter Realm and into the Lesser Azure Cloud Realm. The sect possesses a white passage connecting Earth to that realm. 227 228 241

Operations

Recruitment and advancement

The sect recruits through personal recommendations and evaluates new members through probation, missions, and demonstrated usefulness. Advancement depends on completing assignments, accumulating Contribution Points, strength, and specialized skills. 21 22 48

Story Role / Major Arcs

Early exposure and infiltration

Wang Qingxuan introduces Su Xing to the organization, initially known only as a mysterious group. Su Xing learns its name after being admitted as a formal member through her recommendation. 21

After infiltrating it, Su Xing discovers that its members are traitors to humanity preparing for the Main Race’s arrival. He begins completing missions to improve his standing and uncover its secrets. 22

Elder Medicine and the treasury

By exploiting his alchemy, Su Xing earns Guardian Shadow’s trust, supplies thousands of pills, and becomes the Eighteenth Elder, “Medicine.” This grants him access to the treasury and allows Wang Qingxuan to become his subordinate. 42 43

Su Xing repeatedly uses the sect’s herb reserves to refine pills, strengthen himself and Great Xia, then defects with Luo Shuying after acquiring resources. 81 105 143

Great Xia conflict

Great Xia launches a major campaign against the sect after Luo Shuying provides intelligence on its outposts and personnel. Several Guardians, more than ten elders, and hundreds of cult members are killed, though Old Dog Zong escapes. 89

In another sequence, Su Xing persuades more than 20,000 Advent Sect believers to abandon the sect and join Great Xia’s defense against the Demon Race. They form the Advent Army at Demon Suppressing Pass. 175

Leadership struggle and revelation

Su Xing later remains undercover, builds a large personal following, and works toward becoming a faction leader because ordinary Guardians lack access to the sect’s deepest secrets. 226

After taking control of the Nature Faction, he learns from Guardian Dragon and a mysterious Azure Cloud Realm figure that the Earth branch’s real purpose is to secure escape to the Lesser Azure Cloud Realm. 227 228

Interworld suppression

In the Lesser Azure Cloud Realm, information leaks lead the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion, rogue cultivators, Azure Cloud Sect, White Emperor Tower, and others to suppress the Advent Sect. Seven of its ten known strongholds are destroyed, along with ten human-traitor merchant families. 279 282

Despite these losses, Blood-ranked cadres continue operating across multiple realms, and the sect later shows evidence of infiltration into the Heavenly Secrets Domain. 299 379
