Background

Tang Yin is a transmigrator from Earth who was reborn in Holy Soul Village as Tang San's older twin brother. He initially expected that being Tang San's twin might grant him powerful inherited Martial Souls, but grew resentful of their father Tang Hao after experiencing years of alcoholism, neglect, forced labor, and poverty firsthand. Old Jack and other villagers helped the twins survive their childhood. 1

At his awakening ceremony, Tang Yin manifested Innate Full Soul Power and Twin Body Martial Souls: the Mysterious Jade Hand and Purple Demon Eye. Tang Hao dismissed the hand-type Martial Soul as worthless, further alienating Tang Yin from him. 2 3
