Lin Ming rose rapidly at Shrek Academy, gained powerful soul skills and arts, and disrupted Tang San’s plans for the Tang Sect. After an encounter with the Three-Eyed Golden Lion revealed her possible fate, Lin Ming led his team through the Freshman Assessment and faced Xu Sanshi.

• Destruction agreed to pass his divine position to Lin Ming, who awakened the Sky-Propping Spear, an eight-winged Prayer Angel, and Innate Full Soul Power.
• Lin Ming killed an eight-hundred-year Giant Claw Dragon, absorbed its Spirit Ring, and demonstrated his all-attribute-boosting first soul skill.
• Lin Ming defeated Beibei in a duel, trained in spear techniques with Lin Feng, and later used his strength to drive noble bullies away from Xiao Ling.
• Six years later, Lin Ming reached level forty and absorbed an eighteen-thousand-year Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear Spirit Ring, while the Goddess of Life saved him from its spiritual attack.

Lin Ming strengthened his spear technique, killed Xu Sanshi and his accomplices after their ambush, and traveled with Zhang Lexuan to obtain and purify the Spirit Eater Carving Knife. Back at Shrek, he helped Ma Xiaotao and Lin Feng, then proved his strength by defeating a twenty-thousand-year Flame Lion in the second-year assessment.

• Lin Ming demonstrated his Thirty-Six Sky-Propping Spears to Lin Feng and Mu En, then fought Ma Xiaotao and suppressed her Evil Fire with his Prayer Angel Martial Soul.
• Lin Ming grew close to Zhang Lexuan and killed an Evil Soul Master who was slaughtering soul beasts for blood.
• Xu Sanshi ambushed Lin Ming with two accomplices over Jiang Nannan, but Zhang Lexuan intervened and Lin Ming killed all three attackers before Xuan Zi helped conceal what happened.
• Lin Ming and Zhang Lexuan traveled to Star Luo City, where he bought the Spirit Eater Carving Knife and purified its curse with the Goddess of Life’s blessing, transforming it into the Blade of Life.
• Lin Ming integrated the Blade of Life into his Sea of Spirit, then used it to channel life force into Lin Feng and calmed Ma Xiaotao during an Evil Fire flare-up.
• During the second-year assessment, Jiang Nannan, Tang Ya, and Beibei defeated their assigned soul beasts, while Lin Ming challenged a twenty-thousand-year Flame Lion.
• Lin Ming killed the Flame Lion with his spear, earned two hundred assessment points and a scholarship, and walked away with Zhang Lexuan while promising to marry her someday.

Lin Ming gathered powerful soul beasts and rare treasures to strengthen himself, helping Ice Empress and Snow Empress survive while gaining new powers. He returned to Shrek Academy, reassured Beibei and Zhang Lexuan, and passed the Inner Court entrance assessment.

• Lin Ming left Shrek Academy to hunt in the Star Dou Great Forest, where Di Tian and the Three-Eyed Golden Lion confronted him over the Auspicious Beast’s fate.
• Lin Ming negotiated four Spirit Rings from Di Tian in exchange for a promise to protect the Star Dou Great Forest after becoming a god, and Bi Ji became his guardian.
• Lin Ming visited the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, took immortal herbs, tempered his body, and gained a hundred-thousand-year fifth Spirit Ring and the Ink Jade Divine Spear.
• Lin Ming gave Lin Feng a Nine-Grade Purple Ganoderma, helping him break through to Rank 95 and become a Super Douluo.
• Lin Ming retrieved Ten Thousand Year Mysterious Ice Marrow from Earth Dragon Gate and persuaded Ice Empress to sacrifice herself as his sixth Spirit Ring and left arm bone.
