The Taiji True Body

Taiji Vortex.

At this moment, calling it a Taiji Diagram would be far more fitting.

Previously, the black and white halves had mysterious patterns and air currents that were barely visible, flickering in and out of existence, appearing extremely blurred.

But now, the Taiji is incredibly clear, almost tangible, with distinct black and white sections and even sharper mysterious patterns.

One side is black, emitting a faint, ghostly glow.

The other side is white, radiating a pure white light.

Both sides feature the opposing Yin-Yang eye, along with numerous mysterious, ancient markings, with mysterious energy faintly circulating within.

"To think the Taiji Diagram can absorb divine power directly from the Elemental Ocean—this is too miraculous."

Olivier did not understand the reason behind it.

After becoming a deity, one can reach the Elemental Ocean through their godhead to extract divine power, but that extraction is limited. As one gains insights into the profound mysteries of the laws and their strength increases, they can sense deeper, purer divine power. Once they reach the level of a High-God, they can even vaguely sense the existence of Sovereign Power.

"The purity of divine power represents the strength of the divine body to a certain extent. A High-God's divine body is stronger than a Median God's, and a Median God's is naturally stronger than a Low-God's."

The divine power the Taiji Diagram began by absorbing must have been Low-God power, but the final portion absorbed was clearly of a different grade, possessing a qualitative change. Olivier realized it was Median God power, yet no one had ever been able to absorb Median God power while still at the Low-God stage.

It left him deeply astonished.

After this ordeal, his divine clone's power was clearly much purer and significantly stronger than when he had first started.

"Although I absorbed Median God power, my divine clone was formed based on a Low-God godhead, so it is still not composed of Median God power. My true body, however, is not restricted by the godhead and has instead reaped even greater benefits."

Olivier thought to himself.

Within the Taiji Diagram, Low-God power made up the vast majority, while the Median God power was only a tiny fraction, occupying a corner in the inner layer.

"Can these Median God powers not be used?"

He tried, but he could not utilize them.

Therefore, his true body could only use the Low-God power, which was still purer than what was inside his divine clone.

"I have no idea how this Taiji Diagram was formed; it is truly magical."

Ever since Olivier had muddled his way into cultivating the Taiji Vortex, he had been studying it. Aside from knowing it could help him strengthen his soul and body, he had never made any other discoveries.

For instance, where did it come from? Why did it appear? What were its benefits and drawbacks?

"It can convert elements and divine power into something that has immense benefits for both the soul and the body—could it be a divine artifact?"

Olivier speculated.

"Divine artifacts can generally be bound to an owner. This thing is in my soul ocean, and I cannot manipulate it yet, so it should not be bound. Whatever, I will let my Sword-Shaped Soul communicate with it and see if it can be bound."

Action followed thought; Olivier controlled the Sword-Shaped Soul within his true body to approach the Taiji Vortex.

"The Sword-Shaped Soul in my true body is more than twice the size it was before I became a deity."

There was no sense of weakness from the soul splitting; it felt better than ever. With a powerful soul, he could analyze and comprehend the profound mysteries of the laws much faster.

Olivier was naturally overjoyed.

Usually, when one just becomes a deity and undergoes soul splitting, it takes a long time to recover. Of course, one could refine Soul Golden Pearls, but that was not something a newly ascended Low-God could possess.

A powerful soul naturally leads to becoming a powerhouse.

As soon as Olivier's Sword-Shaped Soul touched the Taiji Diagram, his soul was instantly sucked inside, arriving in a boundless space. The space contained only two colors: black and white. Light divine power and darkness divine power occupied half each, and where the two powers converged, they constantly collided.

"Sizzle, sizzle!"

They repeatedly vanished and reappeared!

The vanishing light and darkness divine powers gave birth to fused light and darkness divine power, and at the same time, produced wisps of magical energy. Unlike the fused divine power, this energy was far more powerful and mysterious.

It was precisely this mysterious, powerful energy that could enhance the soul and body.

"Could it be Sovereign Power?"

Olivier guessed.

He knew of Sovereign Power; it seemed capable of strengthening the body.

This force was completely different from divine power, and completely different from fused divine power—it was countless times stronger.

"If it really is Sovereign Power, that would be incredible."

Olivier knew the preciousness of Sovereign Power; it was a treasure that even a Paragon High-God would covet. It was difficult even for an ordinary Asura to obtain Sovereign Power; only a Sovereign's Emissary or a powerful Asura would possess it.

If Linley hadn't obtained the broken Sovereign Artifact of the Azure Dragon, he might not have obtained Sovereign Power until he reached the Four Divine Beasts clan. Unless one was a Sovereign's Emissary or a Paragon High-God, anyone wanting to obtain Sovereign Power had to pay a huge price, some even going bankrupt.

If he possessed a treasure that could produce Sovereign Power, he would be laughing even in his sleep.

"However, can light and darkness divine power synthesize into Sovereign Power?"

Olivier found it hard to understand, and he wasn't certain if this was indeed Sovereign Power.

After all, he had never seen Sovereign Power before.

"According to the principles of chemical reactions, two substances reacting to form a different substance is possible, I suppose."

But right now, these wisps of energy were extremely scarce, not even amounting to a single drop; they could only be described as mere traces.

This mysterious energy was incredibly powerful; if it were to harm Olivier, a mere wisp would likely be enough to reduce him to ashes. Perhaps because it was born within his soul ocean and bore his mark, he could not mobilize it, yet it would not cause him any harm either.

The Sword-Shaped Soul could sense that nothing in this space would harm it, so it attempted to make contact with this mysterious energy, but there was no reaction; it could neither be absorbed nor controlled.

If only I could control this mysterious energy.

How wonderful it would be if this energy could continuously strengthen both the soul and the body.

If he could control it to attack others, he believed its power would be immense.

For now, I can only utilize it passively, but one day, I will surely utilize it actively.

Olivier was envious; this was a shortcut to rapidly increasing his strength. If he could control it, he might be able to elevate his body to the level of a Divine Beast in no time.

With no other choice, Olivier had to stop worrying about it.

Leaving the Sword-Shaped Soul inside the Taiji Diagram served two purposes: first, it allowed for long-term exposure to the mysterious energy in hopes of finding a way to utilize it; second, the Taiji Diagram should be able to provide a protective effect for his soul.

Of course, this was merely a guess.

Ceasing his study of the changes in the Taiji Diagram, he returned to the secret chamber.

"As expected, my guess was correct. Even with my main body's Sword-Shaped Soul remaining in the Taiji Diagram, it has no impact on my main body."

Olivier stretched his limbs.

"My main body has never been stronger."

It was far more powerful than a single divine clone, and not even weaker than two divine clones combined.
