Background / History

Linley established the Baruch Kingdom in the Chaos Territory and became one of the best-known geniuses of his era. His family, the Baruch clan, included his younger brother Wharton; Linley later married Delia and had two children, Taylor and Sasha. 5 18

While cultivating at Black Crow Mountain, Linley was challenged by Olivier. Their spar revealed that Linley’s Dragonform could compensate for his lesser comprehension of the Laws, allowing him to contend with Olivier at the peak Saint level. Olivier’s explanation of Laws, Profundities, divine ranks, and fusion gave Linley a clear direction for future cultivation. 19

Linley built the Baruch Kingdom into the Baruch Empire after defending its magic crystal mine against the Radiant Church and Dark Church. Although Olivier agreed to secretly protect the negotiations that ended the conflict, Linley’s side secured victory without his intervention. 33

When O’Gavin occupied the Baruch Empire, Linley focused on protecting Dragonblood Castle and his people rather than immediately reclaiming the throne.
