"Good morning, Sulu!"
Beneath a streetlamp, Dora, dressed up a little, spotted Sulu and immediately waved to him excitedly.
She had clearly put on makeup, including lipstick and eyebrow pencil... and even shoes with raised soles, all in an effort to look a little more mature.
"Hello, Dora!"
Sulu greeted her as he came over. He was simply wearing a shirt, without any extra accessories.
But Dora looked him up and down. "It's only been a few days. Why do I feel like you've changed so much?"
"Maybe it's because I changed my clothes!"
Sulu brushed her off casually, but inwardly he was surprised. Dora really is a reporter—she has a sharp eye. "All right, did you make an appointment with Mr. Giles?"
"Of course! It's at nine in the morning, at 22 Daffodil Street. That's the short-term apartment he's renting!" Miss Dora pulled out a notebook. "Mr. Giles has no wife and no children... That's strange, but considering the tragedies that have befallen so many sailors on long voyages, perhaps he wants to avoid something."
