A week later, the entire world had returned from the primitive era of severed network communications to the Information Age. The upper echelons of every nation could finally communicate regarding the nuclear electromagnetic weapon attack named "Starfall."
The information from the Hong Alliance and the Commercial Alliance shocked everyone involved. In just seven short days, more than 80% of two invincible naval fleets had been destroyed. Blue alien creatures spread across the four oceans surged out from the deep sea like a tide, destroying their warships. Humanity was now trapped on the continents.
Another piece of news was even more terrifying.
The central nations of the Eurasian Continent had all refused to participate in this global conference. They claimed to have joined an organization called the Intelligent Life Equality and Mutual Aid Association, dedicated to promoting peaceful coexistence between humans and alien life. They urged humanity to abandon its futile war, open its doors, and welcome the arrival of a New Era.
This meant that more than one-fifth of humanity had completely fallen in just seven days. Those nations had become lands occupied by alien creatures.
Compared to those two pieces of news, the damage caused by the mere ten thousand or so mutated humans seemed almost insignificant.
The successive reports caught most people completely off guard. They had thought the two major organizations had finally torn off their masks and were preparing for Total Nuclear War, and they had been considering which side to support. Instead, a third alien force had suddenly emerged and crushed all of Human Civilization beneath its weight.
In the end, every participant in the conference established a unified objective: drive all alien creatures from their homeland. Earth belonged to all humanity.
