The president of the Lying-Flat Society stared into Li Heng's eyes, brighter and more crystalline than rubies, and spoke solemnly:

"Will the gods of the Infinity Realm truly be as indifferent to mortals in finite worlds as we assume?"

"In ideal conditions, fourth-order lifeforms that transcend the speed-of-light limit could undergo limitless completion, devouring and fusing with every lifeform and object they encountered, leaving no oppression or conflict wherever they existed."

"However, quantum uncertainty and unpredictable chaotic phenomena prevent such ideal conditions."

"Both forms of unpredictable randomness are related to Infinity. They represent unknown possibilities beyond the control of fourth-order lifeforms."

"Therefore, even fourth-order lifeforms unrestricted by communication delays and theoretically capable of infinite expansion might fall apart, or even be killed in turn by a weak ant that dropped off their own bodies."

"So, would beings who stepped into the Infinity Realm encounter the same situation?"

"To us mortals of finite worlds, they are gods who possess the future and exhaust every possibility."

"But in that broader world, they might not necessarily remain omniscient gods."

This distorted world, filled with countless divine corpses, was proof enough.

Even Li Heng, a super-lifeform containing a Continuum, had been forcibly divided into two parts, with the mortal part of his thoughts controlling the body.

All the gods who entered the Infinity Realm had died, becoming ignorant, insensible corpses, while mortals were still living well and freely squandering divine power.

On the surface, what killed the fourth-order lifeform was an ant that had fallen from its body.

But in essence, what made this absurd event possible was the Infinite Universe.

There was no being hiding behind the scenes, using that ant to achieve some noble or despicable purpose.

Everything was merely coincidence.
