A Good Place to Adjust One's Mood
This was probably the most special Quidditch Match Hogwarts had ever played in a century.
Hufflepuff, who had been targeted throughout the match, won but showed no joy whatsoever. After a few token celebrations, he hurriedly returned to the locker room.
And Gryffindor, who weren't targeted, lost the match, so naturally they weren't happy either.
Even many spectators lost their enthusiasm due to the continuous whistles, sitting there listlessly hoping the game would end soon.
If anyone was satisfied with this Quidditch, it would probably be Snape referee.
With that magical whistle, he turned the game into his own personal show, both targeting Kyle and preventing Harry from stealing the Golden Snitch —a win-win situation... He won twice.
I never imagined that being Quidditch Match referee would be such an interesting experience; I might try it more often in the future.
After getting off the broom, Snape was in an exceptionally good mood, especially after seeing Kyle and Harry's ashen faces; he even broke into a genuine smile.
This is wonderful... He wasn't even this happy when he first successfully brewed Felix Felicis.
"He deserves to die!"
In Hufflepuff's locker room, Harris was so angry that he kept punching the wall.
"In the first thirty minutes of the game, Coach Snape... he actually called twenty-one fouls on us! I've never experienced anything so outrageous."
Even in the Quidditch World Cup of 1473, there was only one foul on average every two minutes.
"If he's still the referee for the next match, we'll refuse to participate!"
Everyone nodded in agreement; they really didn't want to experience a second game like this, which was utterly boring.
Kyle was in the same boat, after all, he was responsible for all 21 fouls, and it was already quite an achievement that he managed to hold on until the end.
Kyle didn't choose to stay with the others; instead, he left the locker room alone, intending to find a place to clear his head and calm his bad mood.
The Forbidden Forest was a good choice, but Hagrid had been keeping a close watch on things lately. Kyle was discovered as soon as he arrived and was taken back to the cabin.
"I watched the game, it wasn't your fault."
Hagrid poured Kyle a cup of tea and comforted him, "Professor Snape probably doesn't know much about Quidditch. Everyone could see you didn't foul."
"I've heard that a million times, Hagrid," Kyle said, taking a sip of tea. "Can't you really let me into the Forbidden Forest?"
"No, Kyle," Hagrid said seriously, "The Forbidden Forest is dangerous right now. If it had been anyone else, I would have sent him back to the castle long ago, and I would have also notified the professor, resulting in a significant deduction of points."
Seeing Hagrid's response, Kyle didn't insist any further.
In fact, if he really wanted to go to the Forbidden Forest, he could have used the Invisibility Cloak or the Disillusionment Charm, and Hagrid would definitely not have been able to detect him.
But there's no need for that. There are plenty of places to relax; it's not necessary to have to Forbidden Forest.
After leaving Hagrid's Hut, Kyle encountered Harry by the Black Lake.
"Harry Potter, are you here to see Hagrid too?"
"No... oh yes, that's right." Harry looked a little nervous. "I don't want... to hear them keep comforting me."
"I understand." Kyle patted him on the shoulder. "Go on then, Hagrid just mentioned you."
After saying that, he prepared to leave.
But before they had taken two steps, Harry suddenly called out from behind, "Wait..."
"What's wrong."
"Kyle... did you see anything strange just now?"
"A strange person?" Kyle frowned.
"Well, for example, wearing a hood or something..."
Kyle thought for a moment, then shook his head and said, "Sorry, I didn't notice, but you can ask Hagrid. If that person went to the Forbidden Forest, he might know."
"Okay... thank you."
"You're welcome."
After saying goodbye to Harry, Kyle turned and went back into the castle.
Now he finally understood what Harry meant.
Whether they knew him or not, almost everyone who saw him would go up and say a few words of comfort.
And more and more people are coming here.
Kyle could only quicken his pace and hide in the library for a while, Madam Pince helped him shoo out all those who hadn't chosen to read.
Kyle, meanwhile, hid behind the bookshelves, used the Disillusionment Charm to sneak out, and then took the spiral staircases all the way to the door of the Room of Requirement on the Seventh Floor.
After half a year of hard work, he has gradually moved his flowerbed into boxes, but only for those mature plants.
As for those that are still growing, they remain here.
In comparison, the environment of the Room of Requirement is more suitable for the growth of magical plants, since there's no way to make it rain or change the weather in a box... at least not his.
The same goes for the Mooncalf; they'll have to stay here for a while until Kyle finishes modifying the box.
Because a lot of plants were planted at the beginning of the school year, even after some were removed, the place didn't feel empty at all; in fact, it felt quite crowded.
Looking at the thriving plants in the flowerbed, Kyle's mood immediately improved.
He began to understand Professor Sprout and Newt a little better; watching plants or Fantastic Beasts grow little by little was indeed a very fulfilling thing.
Kyle walked through a row of large flowerpots filled with Biting Cabbage and arrived at the innermost part of the room.
This is the territory of the Venomous Tentacula.
This vine is somewhat like Devil's Snare, as it tends to entangle nearby living things.
However, it is far more dangerous than the Devil's Snare. In addition to being unafraid of sunlight, its Venomous Tentacula are also highly poisonous. Being pricked or bitten by the sharp thorns on its tendrils is fatal.
This is also the main reason why it was listed as a Category C prohibited item by the Ministry of Magic.
However, the growth cycle of the Venomous Tentacula is relatively slow. Even with the Mooncalf's droppings as fertilizer every day, they have only just sprouted a very thin bud. Even the iconic spikes are still just inconspicuous little black dots.
The Venomous Tentacula on the other side are similar.
Biting Cabbage is still the best. It's convenient to use and has a short growth cycle. Even though they were planted on the same day, they've all grown teeth now.
Ever since Kyle arrived at the flower nursery, there has been a constant "crackling" sound of teeth clapping together, like someone playing clappers—it's been incredibly noisy.
He returned to the vicinity of the Biting Cabbage, took out his box from the Mokeskin Pouch, and then put some of the most vigorous ones inside.
