Horcrux
Kyle remained completely unmoved by Voldemort's offer of recruitment.
Look at what that "big villain" said sixty years ago... "For the Greater Good."
It sounds high-end and classy, and it gets your blood pumping.
Then compare that to Voldemort... He didn't offer any benefits whatsoever, just empty promises of power and status.
Honestly, this kind of outdated trick can only fool a naive and simple-minded guy like Quirrell.
However, after thinking about it carefully, Kyle quickly came to terms with it.
After all, whether it was Slytherin's Locket or Hufflepuff's Cup, all the good things Voldemort collected had been made into Horcrux, so naturally he couldn't take them out.
And if he also had a slogan that could get people's blood pumping...
For example, if someone had shouted "I am the chosen one, the only one" or "Fight for a better tomorrow" before a major battle, the Hogwarts Headmaster might not be Dumbledore now, but Riddle.
Kyle thought to himself.
Because of Occlumency, Voldemort had no idea what Kayle was thinking. When he saw that Kyle didn't react, he assumed that his price wasn't high enough.
"What a greedy kid..."
Voldemort continued in his hoarse voice, "And what if I could grant you immortality... like me, free from the pain of aging, free from the fear of death, becoming eternal in this world!"
This time, the seduction was finally starting to take shape.
"That's exactly what I wanted to ask." Kyle lowered his head, pondered for a moment, and said, "Mr. Voldemort, can you tell me how Horcrux are made...?"
"Kill him!"
Before Kyle could finish speaking, he heard Voldemort's furious roar.
Horcrux were his greatest secret. Although he didn't know how this young wizard had discovered it, it didn't matter anymore; he had to die!
Quirrell seemed to have wanted to do this for a long time; he immediately turned around and raised his wand.
A faint green light appeared...
"Avada..."
But Kyle was faster; at the very same moment Voldemort gave the order, he also opened his own chest...
A large dog with three heads suddenly rushed out and bit Quirrell's arm.
"Click..."
The crisp sound echoed in the room.
Quirrell's hand broke, and his wand Descendo with a thud. He tried to pick it up, but the next second, a burst of intense heat swept over him.
Norbert, the Norwegian Ridgeback, flew behind Kyle, spewing dragonfire with abandon.
Having been parasitized by Voldemort for a long time, and having most of his life force drained by the Biting Cabbage, Quirrell was already on the verge of death.
His screams, scorched by the dragon's flames, lasted only a moment before fading away.
After Kyle dispelled the dragon flames, Quirrell was left with only one breath left.
He lay motionless on the ground, only his chest rising and falling slightly.
If he hadn't drunk Unicorn Blood beforehand, he probably would be dead by now.
Fluffy opened his mouth and bit Quirrell's half-body, while Norbert flew to the side, ready to spew dragonfire again at any moment.
"I was just about to say that..." Kyle walked over, shaking his head slightly, and said, "Pointing your wand at someone indiscriminately is very dangerous, Professor Quirrell."
"Who are you?!" Voldemort's eyes flashed with murderous intent.
If looks could kill, Kyle would have died countless times over... Well, Voldemort's looks could indeed kill, but unfortunately he's too weak right now to cast Wandless Magic.
Quirrell's condition prevented him from drawing life force again.
"Mr. Voldemort, your time is precious, so please refrain from saying anything useless."
Kyle asked again, "How exactly are Horcrux made?"
At this moment, Voldemort seemed to accept everything before him and gradually calmed down.
"How did you know about Horcrux?" he asked.
"It's quite a coincidence, you should know about the Room of Requirement, right? It's that magical room on the Seventh Floor."
Kyle laughed and said, "Guess what I found in there..."
"Tsk, I have to say, that plaster statue is really ugly."
"Ravenclaw's Diadem ..." Voldemort said dryly.
"That's right... Of course, after all, you put it there yourself, so you must know."
Kyle said, "I was ecstatic when I first found it, but I soon realized something was wrong with it."
"After that, I spent an entire school year searching through all the books in my house before I finally confirmed that the Ravenclaw's Diadem had been made into Horcrux."
"I'm very curious about this, but the information in those books is too general; there's nothing about the process of making Horcrux."
"I also checked the Restricted Section of the library, but there were no clues there either..."
"It's Dumbledore ..." Voldemort sneered. "Perhaps he's put away all the books related to Horcrux, that hypocrite."
"So, I had no choice but to ask you," Kyle shrugged. "After all, I can't exactly ask the headmaster for those things."
"But why should I tell you?" Voldemort scoffed. "You can kill Quirrell right now. He's just a piece of trash, a useless tool. Even if he dies, it won't affect me at all."
"It seems you're not planning to tell me," Kyle said disappointedly.
"No, I've changed my mind. I've decided to tell you everything about the Horcrux as a reward for discovering that Ravenclaw's Diadem!"
Voldemort suddenly laughed, a laugh that seemed to go mad, "Hehehehe... Dumbledore, my dear professor, you certainly don't agree to me teaching him these things, do you? But I'm going to teach him anyway... What can you do about it, great... Dumbledore?"
"Listen carefully, the creation of Horcrux requires the use of killing... but before that, you need to master a special spell that allows you to touch your own soul..."
Kyle was slightly taken aback. He had originally planned to threaten Voldemort by handing the Ravenclaw's Diadem over to Dumbledore, but he didn't expect him to agree so inexplicably.
Just to compete with Dumbledore?
What is this, a love-hate relationship? Dumbledore just too popular...
But none of this concerns him.
Kyle gave Voldemort a wary look, then took out Quick-Quotes Quill and parchment.
The room seemed to have instantly transformed into a classroom, except that the professor in front of them was somewhat dangerous, the kind who could kill at any moment.
To be honest, Voldemort really had the potential to be a professor. He could always find the most crucial questions and then use his own understanding to summarize those lengthy contents into just a few sentences.
Even something as complex as Horcrux, he explained in just a few minutes, without a single wasted word, only the essential information.
"I'm really looking forward to it..." Voldemort sneered, "If Dumbledore finds out you're making Horcrux... his expression will be priceless... hehe."
