Back at the Leaky Cauldron, Hagrid suggested everyone have a drink before leaving, and everyone agreed... even the furious Mrs. Weasley.

She felt it necessary to explain what had just happened to the the Grangers, lest they develop any bad ideas about wizards.

While the adults were chatting, Kyle went to Ginny's side.

The little girl was looking down, silently drinking her hot chocolate... In the Leaky Cauldron, besides all kinds of alcohol, this was the only thing they had.

Kyle's sudden appearance startled her.

That was a really nice throw.

"You... you saw it all?"

"I wasn't sure before..." Kyle shrugged. "But a normal Ginny wouldn't be this quiet."

"I...I was just so angry." Ginny gripped her cup. "How dare he talk about Dad like that!"

But then her expression changed immediately, and she asked nervously, "Kyle, will they fire Dad?"

"Don't worry, it definitely won't happen." Kyle thought for a moment and said, "The Ministry of Magic just passed the latest Muggle Protection Act, and Mr. Weasley is the initiator and main enforcer of this law."

"If we were to expel him now, it would greatly damage the Ministry of Ministry of Magic's prestige, Fudge would not agree to it."

Ginny blinked... she didn't understand.

"Okay, let me put it another way."

Kyle chuckled, "Mr. Weasley has many friends, including several directors, deputy directors, and members of Wizengamot, who will all stand up for him."

This time, Ginny understood.

She breathed a long sigh of relief, and her whole demeanor visibly brightened.

"Thank you, Kyle!"

"No need, I'm just stating the facts," Kyle waved his hand and said.

"But you threw the crucible quite accurately just now. If it hadn't been filled with so many books, it probably would have hit Malfoy on the head."

Seriously, Ginny, you have a natural talent for Chaser.

"It's a pity that first-year students aren't allowed to participate in Quidditch," Ginny laughed.

"You can give it a try too; after all, Harry is an exception."

"But I've heard that Gryffindor has no shortage of Chaser..."

"That's true, then let's talk about it when you're in second grade."

"Hey, you just said you'd let me give it a try," Ginny said, disgruntled. "Can't I be selected through a special exception like Harry?"

"I was just being polite... It really was your fault," Kyle said calmly. "If it were me, I definitely wouldn't have missed just now."

Ginny gritted her teeth, seemingly wanting to throw the crucible at Kyle's face to show him how accurate her throw was.

But when she turned around, she found that Kyle had taken her cauldron without her noticing.

"I was just wondering what gift to give you for starting school..."

Kyle took the old books out of the crucible. "How about a brand new set of textbooks?"

Ginny quickly shook her head and refused, "No, no, that's too expensive. I can use a second-hand one..."

"It's settled then."

Before she could finish speaking, Kyle put the old books away. "But you'll have to wait two days. Flourish and Blotts probably won't welcome us right now."

Ginny couldn't help but laugh out loud.

Because of them, several bookshelves at Flourish and Blotts were knocked over, and the books on them were scattered all over the floor.

If it weren't for that guy named Hagrid, they definitely wouldn't have been able to leave so easily.

After finishing the Butterbeer, everyone calmed down considerably. The Grangers also put aside what had just happened and said goodbye to Mrs. Weasley with smiles and laughter.

They were heading back to the Muggle street on the other side of the bar.

Before leaving, Kyle also gave Mr. Granger a large bottle of Potter's Sleekeazy Hair Shampoo.

He had quite a few of these in his bag, all prepared for a certain professor, so taking out one bottle wouldn't be a problem.

After saying goodbye at the bar, Kyle and the Weasley family went to the fireplace and used Floo Powder to return to the Burrow.

"Thank goodness you didn't mispronounce the name this time, darling."

At the Burrow, Mrs. Weasley, holding a coat brush, began brushing the ashes off them. "Very good, everyone's here... Wait, why are there only eight people? Where's Percy?"

Only then did everyone realize that Percy hadn't returned.

"I remember him reading a book in a secondhand shop," Ron said.

Harry nodded. "It seems to be <How Prefects Gain Power>."

Everything in the secondhand shop was worn out, except for that book, which looked brand new.

"Ha, that's very Percy," Fred said with a laugh.

"He wants to become the student council president..."

"It could be the Minister for Magic!"

Mrs. Weasley ignored Fred and George, putting down the coat brush she was carrying.

"Oh my god, Percy must have lost track of time... Didn't you call him when you got back?"

"Who would have cared about Percy back then?" Ron whispered. "We thought you'd called him..."

Mrs. Weasley didn't say anything, but silently grabbed a handful of Floo Powder and threw it into the fireplace.

In fact, she had forgotten as well.

Mrs. Weasley went back to pick up Percy.

Kyle declined Fred's invitation to play Quidditch in the woods and hurried home after leaving the Burrow.

He went back to his room, locked the door, and took out Ginny's pile of old textbooks.

Tucked inside that "A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration" was a worn-out black notebook.

The faded date on the cover indicates that it's from fifty years ago, making it inconspicuous among these old books.

Even if someone sees it, they'll mistakenly think it was something the thrift store staff accidentally left inside while tidying up.

Kyle took a deep breath and carefully opened the notebook... On the first page, there was only a vague name.

"TM Riddle."

Sure enough, Lucius Malfoy secretly slipped the diary to Ginny.

He probably wanted to use this method to get revenge on the Weasley family.

Kyle tapped the table... Lucius Malfoy probably didn't know the true purpose of the diary, but he certainly knew how dangerous Voldemort's things were.

In other words, he never cared whether Ginny lived or died.

Hagrid was right, Lucius Malfoy was indeed utterly wicked.

Although he paid a price for it.

After Voldemort was resurrected, he immediately discovered that the Horcrux he had hidden with Malfoy had malfunctioned.

Although Lucius Malfoy sacrificed all his wealth to barely save his family's lives, Draco was still forcibly sent to assassinate Dumbledore.

A student who hasn't even graduated yet, trying to assassinate Dumbledore... Clearly, Voldemort never intended for him to live.

But that's all for the future.

Now that the diary is in his hands, Ginny should be able to have a normal school year.

Moreover, he also had some questions he wanted to ask Riddle when he was young.
