The Daily Prophet
After asking several times without receiving a response, Kyle reluctantly put the diary back in the box.
It crashed?
That's boring. He has even more explosive stuff he hasn't made up yet... um, he hasn't said it.
They have really poor mental resilience.
Kyle put the box, along with the ink bottle, back under the bed, then tidied up the parchment on the table.
After a careful inspection, Kyle found two more errors, both of which were minor details that could easily be overlooked.
One instance might be a coincidence, but three in a row having problems... it's clearly intentional.
Riddle is definitely not an honest kid; it's only been a few days and he's already thinking about causing trouble.
Kyle shook his head and began flipping through the other contents of the parchment, referring to the <Magical Glyph Collection>.
"Kyle, where have you been all day?"
As dusk fell, Kyle, having just left the Room of Requirement, arrived at the Great Hall when Fred and George rushed over and pulled him to sit down at the Gryffindor table.
"I'm reading," Kyle said. "What's wrong?"
"Reading... all day?" Fred asked incredulously.
"And you didn't even have lunch!" George said. "We waited for you in the Great Hall for two hours at noon."
"I was so engrossed in watching that I forgot," Kyle explained calmly.
"What do you want from me?"
"No wonder you got a perfect score..." Fred muttered to himself, but didn't ask any further questions.
He pulled out a copy of the Daily Prophet.
"I know why Lucius Malfoy was so angry, look at this!"
Kyle paused slightly when he saw the familiar photo of the flying car on the front page of the Daily Prophet.
"Why are you taking newspapers from several days ago?"
"This is today's newspaper, only it uses the same photo."
George pointed to the striking caption on the photo:
"The conspiracy at King's Cross Station, the Chosen One hangs by a thread."
This is another article by Rita Skeeter.
But unlike the previous article which was entirely condemning Mr. Weasley, this time he has transformed into a meticulous and thoughtful positive character.
Although it's only a short sentence... this is Rita Skeeter's article, and it's already quite remarkable to have so many words of praise.
Apart from that, the rest of the content is not so user-friendly.
"We have learned that on the first day of Hogwarts school, the entrance to Platform 9 was suddenly closed ahead of schedule, preventing two students from entering the platform."
An insider revealed that one of the two students was actually Harry Potter, who defeated the You-Know-Who ...
The article describes the scene in great detail, as if she were there herself.
"Closing the platform in advance requires an extremely advanced Confundus Charm, something even Auror probably couldn't do easily..."
However, according to a parent, he seemed to have seen a person dressed in a black robe at King's Cross Station... a style very similar to the infamous Death Eaters.
The Ministry of Magic official in charge of guarding the platform stated that he was erasing the memories of a Muggle family when the entrance was sealed... drawn by the hooting of an owl, they unexpectedly witnessed wizards entering the platform.
Kyle turned to Fred and George and asked, "Were you seen by Muggle?"
The Weasley family wizards who managed to enter the platform before the entrance closed.
"No... I don't think so." George wasn't entirely sure either.
"However, we didn't hear any owls hooting while we were at King's Cross Station."
Kyle nodded and continued reading.
"Is this a coincidence? Or is the platform closure a carefully planned conspiracy, with someone wanting to kill Harry Potter to avenge the You-Know-Who?"
And that person might be hiding among the parents dropping off their children...
"We received a letter from home this morning."
Fred's voice held a hint of pleasure. "Dad's investigation is over."
"It's all thanks to you, Kyle." George stepped forward and patted him hard on the shoulder.
Kyle shook his head.
In fact, even without him, Dumbledore wouldn't have stood by and watched Mr. Weasley lose his job; it just wouldn't have happened so quickly.
"It seems Lucius Malfoy received advance notice and knew that Mr. Weasley was alright."
Kyle chuckled, "No wonder he said yesterday that ' Weasley ' wouldn't always be so lucky, instead of 'you guys'..."
That's it.
Fred couldn't help but laugh, "And that's not all, look at this!"
He turned to a page of the newspaper; there was another passage on the back.
"The Ministry of Magic member guarding the platform said he saw a total of six wizards at King's Cross Station, including Lucius Malfoy..."
Upon seeing the name, Kyle immediately understood what Fred and George meant.
Lucius was already suspected of being a Death Eaters, and given Fudge's personality, he likely investigated him after learning about this.
"Rita Skeeter... she's amazing."
Fred clicked his tongue and said, "We prepared three letters, but only sent one."
"The remaining two letters have been thrown away," George said, shrugging. "She wrote them in much more detail than we did."
"It's possible that other people also wrote to her."
At this moment, Harry, who was standing nearby, said thoughtfully, "Look here... only people in the school know that I bumped into the Whomping Willow, but she knows too."
"That's right, that's what we think too," George laughed.
Although things took a bit beyond their expectations, it didn't matter who wrote the letter, as long as Mr. Weasley could pass the investigation smoothly.
In the Wizarding World, any topic related to You-Know-Who or Death Eaters immediately becomes a hot topic.
Even though a day had passed, people in the Great Hall would still steal glances at Harry every now and then during dinner.
At the High Table, Lockhart was also discussing the matter with the other professors, saying that he wasn't at the station at the time, otherwise he would have definitely caught the Death Eaters.
As for Harry... he didn't care about the way these people were looking at him.
The main reason is that after so much time, he's already gotten used to it... and that's still good; it was even more extreme when he first enrolled last year.
Moreover, he had other things on his mind.
To be honest, even Harry himself was a little skeptical after seeing today's Daily Prophet.
It's all such a coincidence.
He couldn't help but think again of the House-elf named Dobby who had stolen his letters during the holidays and caused him to be warned by the Ministry of Magic.
The other party also didn't want him to return to Hogwarts.
Why did it do this? Was it involved in the platform incident? Was it connected to Voldemort... or rather, the Death Eaters?
Harry was completely baffled.
