Padfoot and Wormtail
Kyle's sudden appearance startled everyone; even Professor Lupin's fist, which was about to strike Black's face, instinctively stopped.
Only Black remained unaffected, still lunging towards Scabbers in Ron's hand without looking back.
Without a wand, he was quickly defeated by Harry and Hermione working together, his body flying backward and crashing into a table with a thud.
"Ky, Kyle?" Professor Lupin snapped out of his daze and said incredulously, "How did you get here?"
"Hello, Professor," Kyle said with a smile, then pointed to the corner where he had been standing. "I've been here for a while, right there... but none of you saw me."
"What? You've been here the whole time?" Professor Lupin frowned.
Although he had been watching Black the whole time and hadn't paid much attention to his surroundings, surely he hadn't missed the presence of another person.
And that's not what he really wanted to ask...
"I mean, how did you find your way here?" Professor Lupin continued.
"Follow the map."
Kyle pulled out a large piece of parchment. "I was looking at this in the dorm, and then I saw the five of you leave the castle before curfew. I was a little curious, so I followed you."
"Marauder's Map!"
After all, it was something he had helped make and had used for several years; Professor Lupin recognized the parchment at a glance.
"Did you take it from Filch's office?"
"No, I haven't been to Filch's office," Kyle shook his head and said, "I borrowed it."
"Wait a minute, Kyle!"
At that moment, Harry suddenly realized something was wrong and quickly said, "You just said five people left the castle?"
"Yes." Kyle nodded.
Harry thought about it again. "But there are only three of us, plus Professor Lupin, so there should be four. Could it be that Black has gone into the castle again?"
"No," Kyle said, "The map shows that next to Professor Lupin, there's someone Peter Pettigrew."
"That's impossible!" Ron exclaimed, somewhat exasperated. "How can it be Peter again? It's clearly Scabbers!"
"Yes." This time, Professor Lupin also sided with him. "We've just confirmed that it's not Animagus. I think there must be something wrong with the map... I mean, it's been around for a long time."
"The map can't possibly be wrong!"
Before Kyle could speak, Black got up from the ground and retorted loudly.
He looked unusually excited and ran eagerly towards Kyle, but after running only two steps, his body floated up uncontrollably like a balloon.
"Wandless Magic..." Hermione exclaimed in surprise, covering her mouth.
"No!" Professor Lupin shook his head, staring at a fist-sized blue bug next to Black. "It's Billywig ... Anyone stung by it will float uncontrollably."
"Sorry, Black is too agitated right now. I think this should calm him down," Kyle said with a shrug.
He then reached out and caught the Billywig that flew back.
Ron watched with envy, thinking that if his Scabbers had that skill, they wouldn't have been stolen from him.
Black was still struggling, but Professor Lupin had already found a rope and tied him up securely.
It looks more like a balloon now.
"Let's go," he said. "It's getting late, we need to get Black to Professor Dumbledore quickly."
Professor Lupin paused for a moment, but ultimately did not suggest handing him over to the Dementor.
But just as he was about to leave, he noticed Kyle examining the mouse in Ron's hand.
Scabbers stopped struggling at all and nestled comfortably in Ron's arms, seemingly even smiling.
"How can you laugh, Peter?"
Kyle kindly reminded him, "Haven't you realized yet? You can't return to human form."
Or do you think Professor Lupin and Black are both incompetent and mispronounced the spell?
Visibly, the joy in the mouse's eyes vanished quickly, replaced by terror.
Were Lupin and Black incompetent?
Of course not, quite the opposite; they were all high-achieving graduates.
Scabbers seemed to realize something, and the terror in his eyes grew stronger. He began to struggle again, even biting Ron's finger.
"Ouch!" Ron winced in pain and released his grip.
But the Scabbers that fell to the ground didn't run away; it just kept circling in place, making a sharp cry.
"Scabbers, what's Scabbers?" Ron asked anxiously.
"It's nothing, it's just confirming something." Kyle looked at him. "Could I borrow your wand for a moment?"
Ron gripped his wand tightly, refusing to let go.
"Use mine." Harry handed over his wand, looking at the mouse on the ground with a complicated expression.
He had too many doubts in his mind and didn't want to let go of any possibility of knowing the truth.
"Thanks."
Kyle took the wand and placed it on the ground, smiling as he said to Scabbers, "You can try it yourself and see if you can undo the Animagus Transformation."
Scabbers didn't move... He wouldn't be so foolish as to expose himself.
Kyle probably guessed what he was thinking and said, "Don't worry, if you can turn back, then I'll let you go."
Without warning, he pointed his wand at Hermione and said, "Expelliarmus!"
Kyle caught Hermione's wand and put it, along with Professor Lupin's and his own, into his pocket.
"See, no one can threaten you now," Kyle said, shrugging. "As long as you can turn back and get Harry's wand, you can escape anytime."
"Kyle, you don't..."
Professor Lupin was about to say something, but before he could finish speaking, Scabbers moved.
To Ron's disbelief, it crashed headfirst into the tip of Harry's wand.
Unlike the previous blue light, this time the wand is flashing white light.
Under everyone's gaze, Scabbers's body trembled... and then nothing happened.
This time, even Ron noticed that Scabbers was acting strangely; it seemed to have gone mad, repeatedly banging against the wand.
In the small room, the white light flickered, like a light bulb with a faulty connection.
The scene before him caused Ron's faith to crumble... His Scabbers were using a wand, and even the same spell.
But can an ordinary mouse use a magic wand?
The more Scabbers rammed into the ground, the faster and harder it went, until the fur on its head was even torn.
A few drops of blood fell onto the wand, making Harry feel nauseous.
He seemed to understand why Kyle had borrowed Ron's wand earlier.
"Hahaha... Peter... Hahaha..." Black's maniacal laughter echoed from the room, a hearty laugh, a single, glistening tear rolling down his cheek and falling onto the dusty floor.
