This Is All Your Fault
Looking at the five Mooncalf, Kyle was reminded of what had happened last night.
Yesterday, he didn't pay attention to the time while practicing spells at the Room of Requirement, and by the time he came out it was already late at night.
Feeling frustrated by the repetitive nature of the action and the slow progress, Kyle decided to go for a walk before bed to clear his mind. He left the castle through a secret passage hidden in the tapestry on the first floor.
He had only intended to visit the Quidditch Pitch, but he got so lost in thought that he unknowingly went the wrong way. When Kyle looked up, he realized he had wandered into the vicinity of the Mooncalf's lair.
It can only be said that everything is fate.
Since we've come all this way, there's no reason for us to go back empty-handed.
These five Mooncalf were brought back by Kyle from the Forbidden Forest back then; it wasn't a difficult task for him.
Moon- Mooncalf Mooncalf are gentle Fantastic Beasts. Although they all hid in their caves when they first saw Kyle, they began to peek out one after another after Kyle began to wriggle in the moonlight.
Seeing this, Kyle twisted even more energetically.
He learned this from Newt; because it imitated the Mooncalf ' dance, he was able to gain their trust in a very short time.
Kyle was just a beginner, so the effect was only so-so. If it were Newt doing the jump, he could even charm a whole bunch of female Mooncalf.
That's absolutely outrageous.
However, the dance moves were a bit too embarrassing, especially since it was late at night and there was no one else around. Otherwise, Kyle would never have done it.
Absolutely impossible!
After Kyle finished jumping a short distance, the Mooncalf gradually accepted him and came out of the cave one after another.
After Kyle fed them some more herbal leaves, he started trying to get closer to them.
Perhaps because they were often in contact with Hagrid, the Mooncalf in the Forbidden Forest had almost no sense of vigilance. After Kyle promised to provide them with all the Dittany leaves they could, these five little gluttons couldn't resist coming over.
Kyle originally only intended to take two with him, but looking at their big, watery eyes, he felt it wouldn't be right to leave any out, so he ended up taking them all.
It's just some herb leaves, he can afford to grow them.
The whole process went very smoothly. With his reminder, the Mooncalf didn't make any noise and quietly followed him out of the Forbidden Forest.
It was a little troublesome to bring them back to the Room of Requirement.
Because the Invisibility Cloak was too small to cover only one Mooncalf at a time, Kyle had to bring them in in five separate trips through the secret passage behind the tapestry.
By the time the last Mooncalf was delivered to the Room of Requirement, it was already past midnight.
Kyle's legs were trembling so badly that he plopped down on the ground, panting heavily, and it took him a long time to recover.
However, it was all worth it. With these five Mooncalf, the problem of plant fertilizer was completely solved.
Kyle was very satisfied with the five little ones' condition. Although they seemed a little scared, this was normal, as long as none of them were clamoring to go back.
They should get used to it after living here a while longer.
After leaving the Room of Requirement, Kyle went to the kitchen to pack some food and took it to Hagrid's Hut.
Hagrid's cold hadn't gotten better, and he looked weak and listless.
"I brought you some scones and sausages." Kyle placed the items he was carrying on a shelf.
"Thank you, Kyle."
Hagrid picked up the copper kettle to pour Kyle a glass of water, but half of it spilled out, which frustrated him.
"I've never had a cold."
Hagrid handed the water to Kyle, saying, "Yesterday, Poppy gave me a whole barrel of potion to drink; it tasted awful."
"There's nothing you can do about being sick." Kyle took a sip of water. "How are you feeling? Are you feeling better?"
"It's even worse." Hagrid shook his head.
Yesterday he only felt a little dizzy, but after drinking the medicine, he started to feel unwell all over and couldn't muster the energy to do anything.
This feeling made Hagrid very uncomfortable.
Looking at him now, Kyle asked with some confusion, "Didn't Madam Pomfrey give you Pepperup Potion?"
The Pepperup Potion is the main cold medicine sold at the Hospital Wing; that's what Cedric and Ryan drank when they had colds a while ago.
Although white smoke will come out of his ears, he won't experience the same listlessness as Hagrid.
After all, students still have to attend classes, and they can't afford to be listless.
"Pepperup Potion? No, not at all." Hagrid thought for a moment and said, "Poppy said that wasn't suitable for me. He gave me a different kind of Potions, and I don't know what it is."
Kyle suddenly realized.
That's true; given Hagrid's size, ordinary Pepperup Potion or cold remedies really wouldn't have much effect on him.
Thinking of this, Kyle suddenly remembered something and glanced at Hagrid again.
The more he looked at this seemingly drunken state, the more familiar it seemed.
About a year ago, one of Newt's Erumpent caught a cold. After Newt gave it a special potion, the big guy seemed to be in this state.
this...
Kyle pursed his lips; he felt he had discovered something extraordinary.
The train arrived as scheduled, reaching Hogwarts before the dinner.
The entire castle became lively again.
Fred and George found Kyle as soon as they returned to the castle.
Why didn't you tell us you weren't going home for the holidays?!
Fred said through gritted teeth, "Mom didn't see you, so she took it all out on us!"
"She thinks we've bullied you," George said angrily. "She hasn't given us a kind look all holiday."
Do you know how we've spent the last two weeks?
Fred became increasingly aggrieved as he spoke, "On Christmas Day, even Ron got to eat delicious turkey and sausages, but George and I only got to eat those dry sandwiches!"
"It's all because of you!"
The two men, with stern faces, cornered Kyle against the wall, giving off an impression that he wasn't going anywhere until he explained himself.
"I already told you, it was the day before we left school," Kyle explained, raising his hands above his head. "You were studying a suit of armor in the fifth-floor hallway."
The day before leaving school?
"The fifth floor?"
Fred and George suddenly looked a little guilty.
They remembered that they had indeed been to the fifth floor before leaving school, and that they had seen Kyle there.
But at that moment, they had just discovered the password clue for the Marauder's Map's Map behind the armor and didn't pay any attention to what Kyle said.
The two exchanged a glance, seemingly reaching some kind of tacit understanding.
"This is still your fault! Why didn't you write a letter!"
"We've been eating sandwiches for two weeks straight, we can't just let this go!"
