Battle in Godric's Hollow

Where was Dumbledore...? Aside from Ron, everyone else had the same question. They clearly remembered seeing Dumbledore and even speaking to him, so how had he suddenly disappeared?

But other than Kyle, probably no one could give them an answer.

The instant the Death Eaters appeared, Kyle tensed up. He ignored Harry and Hermione's ongoing argument and did not even spare them a glance, instead searching the Death Eaters with a serious expression.

A moment later, Kyle relaxed slightly.

Thankfully, they were all wearing masks... That was standard gear for Death Eaters. If they were Death Eaters, it meant the most troublesome person had not come.

In that case, there was nothing to worry about.

By the time Kyle came back to his senses, the battle had already fully erupted. Spell-light flashed everywhere, and under such dense attacks, the protective magic around them held out only briefly before being completely destroyed.

Everyone was exposed before the Death Eaters. The sky seemed blanketed by a thick black mist as they descended from above, using their numerical advantage to surround every person.

Harry had the most enemies around him.

Just as Hermione tried to take him away, she was interrupted. All kinds of spells came hurtling at them from every direction, making it difficult for her to focus on Apparition.

Left with no choice, Hermione made a snap decision. She shoved Harry away and threw herself in the opposite direction, narrowly dodging the incoming spells.

Ron, beside them, was a step too slow and was struck in the shoulder by a spell.

Clutching his shoulder, Ron let out a scream. Blood poured from the wound, soaking through his robes.

"Ron, Ron! Are you okay?" Hermione asked in a trembling voice, but her words were quickly drowned out by a louder explosion.
