Ron swore that this was without a doubt the most unforgettable holiday he had ever had.
The situation had been tense during the first month, and he had spent every day on edge. But after the incident at Godric's Hollow, the Death Eaters had somehow suddenly gone quiet.
He had thought he could finally relax properly, but only a few days later, he was sent to the Ministry of Magic and began a life where work started the moment he opened his eyes... Even House-elves got time off, but he did not.
But he had finally made it through.
Though he still had homework to finish and only three days remained before term began, compared to the work at the Ministry of Magic, the so-called homework was practically effortless.
For the first time, Ron felt that doing homework was an incredibly easy task. Not only had he finished his own on time, but he had also found time to draw Harry a complete diagram of planetary orbits.
Honestly, Harry had been stunned at the time and had even briefly suspected that a Death Eater had disguised himself as Ron with Polyjuice Potion and infiltrated 12 Grimmauld Place.
"Come on, hurry up."
On the day term began, Mrs. Weasley got everyone up early in the morning and urged them downstairs for breakfast.
"Mum, aren't we going to school through the Floo Powder? Why are we in such a rush?" Ginny asked, coming downstairs bleary-eyed and yawning.
"The plan has changed." Mrs. Weasley added two sandwiches to her plate. "Connecting to the Floo Network might disrupt some of Hogwarts' protective magic, so you'll be taking the train instead."
"Taking the train?" Ron woke up at once. "What if the Death Eaters attack? At the very least, Harry should be sent there."
