Austria was still somewhat famous in the wizarding world.
Of course, that fame had nothing to do with Nurmengard. Grindelwald might have been well-known, but that had been sixty years ago. After more than half a century, what little notoriety he had left had gradually faded away.
Especially among young wizards still in school, hardly anyone even knew who Grindelwald was anymore.
This place was famous because the International Confederation of Wizards had held many meetings here.
As for why they had chosen this location, no one knew.
Near noon, in an unknown village in Austria, few people lived there due to its remote location and proximity to the forest, where wild beasts often appeared. Altogether, there were only a dozen or so residents.
No one noticed that, while they were finishing their morning work and hurrying home for lunch, a person suddenly appeared at the entrance to the village, as though he had fallen from the sky.

Kyle looked around... remote, desolate. Other than the endless primeval forest, there were only mountain peaks rising into the air, as if someone had forcibly sliced off their upper sections.
It was hard to imagine that anyone lived in a place so utterly incompatible with city life... perhaps they did so to make hunting in the forest more convenient.
