"Mm, this one's good, this one too..."
Having returned to Hogwarts, Kyle naturally couldn't possibly come back empty-handed. No matter what, he had to mooch a lunch first.
Kyle arrived at the Great Hall and calmly took the seat between Harry and Hermione, helping himself to the lavish spread before him as though no one else existed.
As he ate, he turned to look at the people beside him.
"Why aren't you eating? Aren't you hungry?" Kyle stabbed his fork into the last remaining honey-fried pork cutlet.
"If you're not hungry, then I won't hold back."
With that, he took a huge bite.
Ron's heart trembled.
He had been eyeing that pork cutlet for ages. He hadn't expected it to end up on Kyle's plate during just one moment of distraction.
That had been way too fast.
And besides, what was a graduate even doing here? Had he come just to steal their lunch?
"What exactly did you come to school for..." Hermione voiced the question in his heart.
"Did the Death Eaters do something again?"
"When have the Death Eaters ever behaved themselves?" Kyle swallowed the steak in his mouth and washed it down with a gulp of pumpkin juice.
"As for why I came here... didn't I say before? I'm just here to watch the show."
"Watch the show?" Hermione was even more confused. "But the Minister has already left."
Amelia Bones had come out of the Headmaster's Office twenty minutes earlier and hurriedly left Hogwarts with Scrimgeour.
No one knew what they had discussed with the headmaster, but judging from Bones's relaxed and calm expression, the three of them must have had a pleasant conversation. They might even have reached some sort of agreement.
"Yeah, the Minister's already gone. What's left for you to watch?" Ron muttered
